I am so upset at this place. For the prices of services here being around $100 a month, their customer service & scheduling is atrocious!! Last month I came in at the time I was told 6:15 pm, but when I got their they said I was more than 10 minutes late for my 6:00 appt., so they couldnt see me! I was furious. I know what time they scheduled me for. Then this time they only had an appt available at 6:30 pm on a Saturday night before a big Saint Patricks Day dance I had been looking forward to for months, and she said, "you arent even on our appointment list." So after some looking at the schedule she saw I was actually scheduled for the day before! Again, I know what time I scheduled my appointment for! They didnt try to call me or anything, and even though theyve called me many times before, and I had signed a contract with my contact info on it, they didnt seem to have my number! I have been coming here for over 8 months! She said there was nothing she could do, because they had one esthetician there doing her last full set for the night! So i sat outside calling around for an appointmrnt and noticed the "client" supposedly getting the full set hadnt shown up yet, and it was 15 minutes past the time. So I called back and she said, "We are ok with her being late." So I guess it depends on who you are for how you are treated! In this business you cant treat a customer like that because its a serious problem to plan on getting your eyelashes done, after they all have fallen out, and have a major event schedueled, then screw around with the times so the customer cant go to an event planned months in advance! Basically, I know there are cheaper places with more professional staff out there! This place never seems to get it right, and all my beautiful lashes have fallen out completely, which they said would not happen!! Buyer beware!! This is the second time I have to cancel my plans, because of this ridiculous place!

I bought some powder here and didnt like it. When I went to return it, the girl said she needed my name and phone number for the return....fine, standard info, right? She then asked for my birthday, which is totally unnecessary. I asked her why she would need that and she said "oh, so we can give you your full refund." I declined...Ive shopped at Ulta a ton (one of the ladies knows me by name even) and Ive never needed to give that. So at the end of the return she hands me a rewards card..... I thought for a minute and asked another employee if a rewards card was required for a return. I let her know I already had a rewards account, and that I just didnt use it for that purchase because I couldnt remember my old phone number, the one associated with my rewards. We went back to the counter, and first the girl said it was a new card for my old account. I asked her how that could be possible, since the phone number I gave her for the return isnt associated with my rewards. I told her that if she used the rewards account for the phone number I gave her, then shed just given me a card to someone elses account. In addition, she wouldnt need my birthday, shed already have it. She then changed her story and admitted she had just signed me up for a new account. I asked if that was necessary for all returns and she verified it was not. Which I already knew, having done returns at Ulta before with and without using my rewards. Plus, like I mentioned, I already had a rewards account, just not under my new phone number. She not only signed me up without telling me but lied about it when confronted. Not the sort of practices I want to support in a business. So be prepared to be signed up for accounts under false pretenses without your knowledge or consent. Yes, its just a silly points system, but the principle of the thing has ensured that I will be doing all my makeup purchases at a competitor from now on.

Why does the staff ALWAYS look like they just stepped on a dead animal. Seriously. They all walk around frowning and rolling their eyes. I took a year hiatus from this store because of the AWFUL customer service but thought I would go back today because I was in the area and needed a new straightener after leaving mine in Texas. I walked in and wasnt greeted, was staring at straighteners for a good 25 minutes before a lady asked me if I was doing good and walked away before I could say anything, I finally choose one and get to the register and this lady didnt smile once, ask if I found what I needed, and acted like she didnt want to get there at all. The staff is so uppity and arrogant. MUCH rather drive down Beach to the Sephora because the ladies there are 100000000x nicer and more helpful.

I just think the overall staff is much more helpful and extremely more approachable, which makes a huge difference in my shopping experience. I find them all to be very knowledgable in every product you ask them about, literally, which is insane. Other major makeup stores, of which I wont name, but should be obvious to which one I am referring to... I think they know little about their products and a lot of the time, almost rude. Ulta all around is an amazing company and shopping experience and worth every penny. Its the best.

every time I call NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE !! So I am left with having to go to Ulta and finding out what I am looking for is not in stock and I am always told they will get a shipment in during the week and to check back. Again, when I call no one ever, ever answers the phone. I end up having to far away to another Ulta Beauty Store or I end up calling and I am not put on hold for ever. The staff is very nice though so this is a plus. Just wish they would answer the phone and save me a trip. I love shopping at Ulta.

The girls at check out are not attentive and are super spacey and are slow, They have no sence of urgency even when the line is wrapped to the back of the store. Ulta in Seal beach the girls are on top of it providing excellent customer service while still expiditing transactions expediantly. All the girls in huntington beach seem to have a chip on their shoulder and could care less about what is going on around them. I hate going to the huntington beach location but other locations are too far!

They are poorly stocked, whether its a weekday or the weekend. And even if it says online that an item is "in stock" at this location, and I drive all the way here, they dont even have the item... The workers that I have encountered are not friendly and sometimes even rude. Ive never had a genuinely good experience here nor at any other Ulta to be honest.

I use to come here for convenience. Now the parking is awful even on z Monday at 2. You are always out of stock of Bare minerals and I always have to go to the one in Rossmoor. Why do I bother. The parking in Rossmoor is better too. But the girl told me they would be getting a shipment Friday. I do makeup and need it before then.
