TOTAL SLIME !!! I can"t post on the internet what I would really like to say. I was visiting in Hunnington Beach, and I recently noted the advertisement of the rings that Mr Montgomery supposedly carried, and went to his store wanting to purchase one. He did not have the one in the advertisment photo in his case, but assured me he could get one quickly. I paid him a deposit, and waited for the ring that was supposed to be in within a wk or so. A month later, he informed me that the stone was larger than what I ordered, "but I would love it". I told him that I did not want a larger gem stone, that the one that I ordered was already large enough. He insisted that I let him ship it and look at it, if I did not like it I could ship it back. I got the ring, and it was nothing like his ad, and immediately sent it back. I became ill, lived in another state (which he totally exploited) and grew very frustrated with his rude and ugly temprament and just wanted to get my money back because it was appearant that he had no interest in doing what was right. He refused...and suddenly referred to the ring as a "custom order" which he doesn"t refund "custom orders"...how convieniant...never mind that he advertised them in @ 4 colors and they were mass produced. I should have known not to do business with him. On one visit to his shop, he was yelling at someone on the phone and it was an appearant customer in a dispute. I have bought jewelry for yrs and NEVER EVER had someone so unethical in my dealings. Save yourself the greif.....find someone reputable !!!

Friendly expert service... My first experience was with a battery replacement on a diving watch, that other jewelers could not manage to accomplish! I was very satisfied, and later returned when I decided to sell some silver coins. I received a fair price, in cash, in just minutes! I also discovered during friendly conversation, that Charles is very knowledgeable in many related fields, and can buy, sell, or find you a buyer of most anything of value. Montgomery Jewelers is my new favorite place to do business in the Orange county area!

This place is the worst. Do not give this store your business under any circumstances. Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. The gentlemen doing repairs does not know how to talk to people, plain and simple. Just really rude. The last time someone spoke to me in such a condescending manner, I think I was in middle school. Even if they offer a reply to this review, just dont give this place a chance. With all the options we have as consumers, no one should be treated like this.

I went to Montgomery Jewelers recently and took in my fathers antique Rolex watch and Mr. Montgomery was amazing! It was finished in less time then I hoped and I paid less then it was supposed to be. Mr. Montgomery did HALF the price for how much other places wanted. I have now told everyone and will keep telling everyone about how fabulous his work is!:) You should take a drive down to his store and check out all the amazing pieces he has and he is a very nice man.

I have recommended many family & friends and all have said their experiences have been great! Great prices and quality on all types of pieces! The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. Last week I brought in an old cuckoo clock to Charles and he was very courteous and fixed the clock correctly in an appropriate length of time. I was not able to get it running and brougt it back to Charles and he was most patient and helpful showing me how to get it up and running. Went home, followed his instructions and all is well. A bit to much on the high end... $20 to replace a single battery on a cheap watch and another $10 for removing a couple links. Took less then 3 minutes to charge me $30... I was under the impression that a most good jewelery establishments wouldnt charge for taking a couple links out. I personally will take my business else where in the future.

I have lived in Huntington Beach for over 20 years and Montgomery Jewelers is the only place I go to for any jewelery or watch purchases. Charles is very knowledgable and defintely knows his trade. He is very friendly and always takes all the time you may need to be sure you are happy. Do not think of going anywhere else.

I brought my new invicta watch to Charles Montgomery. The glass was cracked, he fixed it quickly for $35. Before i brought the watch to Charles, i got another estimate at a different jewelry repair store to fix the glass. They wanted $130. im glad Charles gave me a great deal. I highly recommend to go see Charles.

Montgomery Jewelers is by far the best Jewelery Store in the Area! I purchased my weeding ring from Charles, he is very knowledgeable when it comes to this sort of thing!
