I didnt even know Gilroy had a retro video game store! I went in and Jimmy greeted me and asked if I needed anything, he was very kind and helpful. I bought a PlayStation 2 while I was there and before I bought it he plugged it in to show me it was working. The best part of my visit was the good price I got the PS2 for ($40 and it came with all the wires, one controller, and a memory card!). If you want to get a good price on a retro video game or system and you dont want to drive all the way up to San Jose or buy it online, then this is the place for you!

Wouldnt recommend selling. Person working there claims that he gives more money than gamestop. A 3ds, 8 ps4 games, 3 wii games, classic ganecube, 100 dollars. Gamestop would give me at least 140. I still took the 100 dollars because im broke. Took my 10 dollars because he was normally gonna give me 90 for everything. Wouldnt suggest selling here at all. One of the worst choices ever made.

Great store I couldnt find a Nintendo ds xl at any store but then when I called game world first thing they said was "yes we have it" I wish I could give this store a triiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllllliiiiiiiiooooooooonnn stars !!!!!! BEST PRICES EVER
