LPs, 45s, 7" with a truly expedient and brief collection where you will mine more gems and treats than you might at Ameoba in SF with 50x the record stacks. Its obvious they do a good job really finding things that fit each genre, and its not just a "put everything you have in the stacks". It was really fun - found some great rare groove jazz, rocksteady, a folk disc, some old punk. They also do movies, games, toys and trinkets. Its a great little shop that was more fruitful and less overwhelming than Amoeba.

Bought a CD at this store passing through Sacramento on the way to LA. Got a couple hours south and found that the CD in the case was not the right CD. Called the store and they could not help me at all. No refund, couldnt even send me the right CD. Now Im stuck with a CD I dont want that I paid for. Extremely upset. How could a store not even check if they have bought the right CD? Its unprofessional to blindly buy a CD. Someone could have put a blank CD in there for all they know.

I love dimple so much! why, youre wondering? For one, the history. I remember when I was a little girl and it was Tower Records. Then, as I got older it turned into R5 with free concerts,thats where I fell in love with my soul mate. And now its Dimple, and me and Soul Mate try to go as much as possible to the place where we first kissed. Overall, dimple is awesome. Cheap movies, cds and more!!

I love all of Dimple Records & visit at least once a year from NV. I do this because of great selection of hard to find cds, as well as new, & also movies. They have good prices, reasonable trade-ins, & I love they can look up selections of other Dimple locations, so they can tell you if another store has the item you are looking for.

Poor customer service, understanding that I am a retiring customer they turned me away without proper ID, even tho the manager recognized me from previous visits, extremely disappointed because I liked the place and completely lost respect for not only the business but the manager...

I buy everything and I am also in a program. The company is better to me then ordering online and paying extra fees from other companies. You can also ask if they can order certain movies. Great place to spend your money and staff is helpful and respectful that I met.

Its pretty cool to go there and get some CD. It surely beats buying some online or worse, get digital albums. They have new and used music CD, as well as a few DVDs and games (XBOX, PS4). The used music CD can be really cheap ($2.99 and up).

Buyer beware. They say they have a return policy of 75% credit back on items purchased within 14 days, but they dont honor it for Vinyl. They tried to buy back something that I just purchased full price the day before for almost nothing.

You can call all dimple records and put anything on hold for a week. I get all of my favorite old school music here. The one on arden way always has celebrities there during the summer time for record releases or signing
