I am so impressed! I have a favorite pair of walking boots that Ive worn through about three winters. The 1-inch rubber heels have been wearing away on the outer edges (about 1/4- to 1/2-inch shorter on outer edges than inner edges of heels on both boots), and there was a crack in the rubber on the bottom of one boot where it bends when I walk. In addition, the rubber soles were getting very thin all over. I called to see how quickly the boots could be fixed (I needed them back in a very quick turn-around), and Joe said they could accommodate my schedule. When I got my boots back, they looked significantly better than I could have hoped for. Not only were the soles seamlessly repaired with excellent material, but my boots had also been polished and shined beautifully! I bought them used several years ago, and now they look better than they did when I first got them! Thank you so much for fantastic service at a great deal! I will be bringing more boots in before next winter.

This business is under new management. BEWARE!!! HE STEALS MONEY. HE charges cash only and upfront. The reason he does this is because he has no experience fixing shoes!. He attempted to make a simple repair of my shoes, he ruined my shoes. I brought them back and when i told him that they were still not right after the second time he said... bye... go someplace else, dont give her, her money back he told the guy in the front office ! I had asked for my money back, since now i still need to take them to a legitimate place to have them repair. He left one shoe higher than the other and he knew that since he mentioned to me... its only slightly higher, no big deal . My hip was killing me by the end of the day. They told me the work was guaranteed and had nothing to worry about.... so, i trusted them. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEPLACE ELSE. He is obviously under the impression that residents of Folsom have plenty cash to just give away....(the owner lives in elk grove)

I just want everyone to know that this business has changed hands twice in the last year. The one bad review on here is from the previous owner. There is a new owner as of the 1st of March 2017. This business has a great family owned vibe. Clean, friendly and honest shop. I undertand the reason for the prepay policy. Its hard for a business to pay bills when customers leave items to be fixed without paying first. People get busy with life in general and sometimes forget to pick items up. Without a prepay policy, this man would have his time and materials invested in repairs and no guarantee that his customers wouldnt change their mind or forget their shoes . He guarantees all his work and his work is amazing. Its nice to have a small business like this in our community. He is trying to build this business back up after some hard times from the previous owners. This is the only shop I will ever take any of my items to be repaired.

I agree with the previous reviews. The new owner is amazing! His family has been in the shoe business for a long time. His father and grand father were both in the business and he is continuing the legacy. I have a rotation of Allen Edmonds that I use during the week for work and I have taken them to this shop to have the toe and heel guards replaced. I also had him add the TOPY rubber sole to a couple new pairs of AE and he did an outstanding job! I highly recommend this business!

Today I went to get my boots repaired. I was sorry to hear that the previous owner passed away. However, I found the new owner to be really nice, but more importantly, honest. He explained to me why I should not waste any money repairing this pair of boots. And to be clear, he did not offer to sell me anything. This community can be tough on businesses that do not measure up. My guess is that this gentleman will stay in business as long as he chooses.

Awesome! This shoe repair has a new owner as of this month. He said hes been fixing shoes for 20+ yrs. He did an Amazing job on my boots, purse and belt. Fair priced and quick service! He did my boots on the spot. So glad theres a friendly new owner. And my mom got products for her plantar faciitis! Great place.

He hand made new Birkenstock straps for my wifes favorite sandals...came out amazing! Also got my Allen Edmunds re-edit and they looked brand new when I picked hem up. Will be taking in all of my shoes to him from now on!
