The staff was nice enough. They are very knowledgeable. Lately, the Red Wing boots seem to be lacking. I was a very big fan of the Carhartt 6" work boot line sold by Red Wing (I swear by them)... extremely well made, comfortable and durable (Ive had them resoled twice in four years). Red Wing no longer carries the Carhartt boot and I recently purchased their Red Wing 6" high work boot. Poor quality, doesnt wear in properly (the stitching seems to cut into my foot at odd places), the Carhartt had three eyehooks and full padding around the ankle, their brand has only two eyehooks and no ankle padding so the laces place more tension and cut into your ankles (even when loosely tied). The Carhartt boot was broken in after three days and felt as comfortable as sneakers... their Red Wing brand has not broken in after three weeks and feels less comfortable as time goes by. I want to remain a Red Wing customer but stop looking out for your bottom line and start looking out for your customers. I will be returning the Red Wing Boots this week.

The staff, especially Chris were very helpful, polite and professional. I needed a new pair of boots, and they sized me and found a pair I was looking for in no time at all. Theyre more expensive than youd expect for a work boot, but more than make up for it in comfort and durability. The branch itself was clean and had a polished look to it, no public bathrooms that I know of, no wifi but who needs it if youre buying boots? 5/5 for the product, 5/5 for the chain of stores and 5/5 for this branch in particular. Keep up the good work, fellas!

With a great product all you have to do is provide a good presentation with great sales staff and you have a winning combination. This is the flagship store here in New York and they really give you a great shopping experience. The salesperson I dealt with was very nice, she knew her product and answered all my questions in an unhurried manner. No sales push here, and I will be going back.

I purchased an 800 gr. insulated 9" boot and ordered another style in 1000grams insulation. I am a DEVOUT Red Wing LIFETIME CUSTOMER. As a UNION CARPENTER, I swear by their COMFORT /DURABILITY. Great staff and experience. They were super helpful and patient as I tried on 3 sized of the same style of shoes. Unfortunately they were out of my size in the color I liked but they ordered them for me on the spot and called me when they were ready to be picked up!

can here to try on shoes as I ordered a pair and they were too big, salesperson was nice and even said that I could exchange the boots for the correct size even if I didnt buy them for an authorized dealer. solid boot and company.

Amazed at how nice these shoes are, especially for construction. The salesman are personable and genuine, too. You dont have to worry about high pressure selling or something like that. Great store, great shoes, great service.

I just bought REALLY waterproof boots at Redwing. Tried them out in the slushy mess. Sales help was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about their products. Very comfy, American made product with a great guarantee.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about all of the footwear. We had to go through pairs and pairs because of my wide feet but they didnt seem to mind at all and chatted happily.

Its a good store and obviously a great brand to get your construction boots from. I highly recommend that if youre a woman, you should call ahead to check whether they have your size.

Great boots. You can shop online or check the online selection prior to going to the store. The staff is very helpful. Prices are expensive but usually worth it.
