Big 5 runs great specials on many items sometimes its not worth it paying full price for anything though because often its on sale the week after or shortly after unless you absolutely need it. There is limited staff for help so you need to be patience and find someone if you need more information.

I went in a couple seeks ago to purchase a knife and it was good to see that the employees are well informed about the stock they carry to were there can even recommend certain items depending on its use.

Knowlegable, product is there or theyll refer you to their competitors to get you what you need! I was in and out in 5 minutes! Parking lot sucks though.

Limited selection but they do okay for the available square footage. Prices are decent and GREAT at the end of summer. Staff is nice and very helpful.
