Horrible customer service. I recently called this location to ask if they had a specific item in stock. The first time I called a gentleman answered. When asking about the item and providing him with an item number he responded with "We cant look up items here, youre gonna have to come down and check yourself". Aside from the attitude, I didnt know if to feel sorry for his ignorance or angry at his laziness and lack of work ethic. Upon calling the second time, a young woman answered who was able to look up the item but she then left me on hold till closing time. Hmmm I guess I should have just listened to the gentleman who first received my call.....

on line sale deseving... I went on line to purchase the black friday sale item. I see the item available. I add it to my cart and go to the payment page...paid with Paypal and when I hit the botton to submit I get the message that the item is out of stock. I receive an email from Paypal with a transaction ID. When I call Michaels they say that the stock numbers are not update!!!!! So what is the use of wasting time? They did not honor their promise either and did not fill my order. Very deseving... I will not trust their site anymore...waste of time.

I have enjoyed my Michaels, Encino, for 30+ years. Love it! Love it! Love it!!! I do have to warn people about the smell of some of the Artist Loft products. Be aware. The smell does not go away. I had issues with the acrylic paints a few years ago and hoped their smell issue had resolved and now the smell is back in their pre-packed canvas boards. I have to keep them outside because the odor is so strong! Also, if an employee says that they dont carry something, its probably not true. If you think they carry it, they probably do!

Huge store with so many great deals. Its like any other Michaels but the sheer size alone makes me believe that theres a bit more magic lingering through the aisles. Frames galore, buttons they have buttons, oh if you need vellum paper they have that too. I mean Michaels is a crafty persons hevean and if you just want adorable artwork and trinkets for your house, than this is the perfect place to get it on the low low. They always have coupons so just the ads or simply go online before checking out.

I dont understand the previous few comments...I mean a dispute is a dispute, but really? Dont they always ask how much the value of the bill is your holding to certify that you know how much youre handing out? And if not, then make sure they do. Also, I tend to pay by card anyway. Is there any way to pay by card? Did they confirm the policy on the wheelchair use? I am sorry. I would like to find out their policy for returns, though.

This store is AWFUL for customer service - and I love Michaels as a rule. Basically the assistant manageress was too lazy to count a register as there was a dispute between whether I had given them a $20 or $10 - Also, she just kept muttering "Jesus Christ!!!!" at me! Rude, rude, rude. She was young, flustered, obviously inexperienced. Shame on Michaels, they obvioulsy dont choose staff well and train them in customer service.

This location is very well organized and most things are easy to find on your own. Staff is friendly and helped me out when I wanted to buy a shelf unit and it was the last one available but it had no tags or stickers to make the purchase. But they were still able to sell it to me, which was great! The only issue is the lack of parking, it is madness when trying to find a spot near the store.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Joey Treated Me Very Rudely when i needed to use the electric wheelchair, and was threatening me to go get the manager and then shouted in front of the whole store "MAKE SURE HE DOES NOT USE THE ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR!" Humiliating me in front of the whole store and then walking away laughing. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!

You name it; they probably have a miniature of it. Michaels, part of a national chain, offers an almost endless list of art and craft supplies. The Isles are wide and the store is spotless. When busy, checking out can take a bit of time. Free parking in an elevator building. Wheelchair accessible including bathrooms.

Great place to shop for crafts and gifts, plus its a the Encino commons so you can go and spend some good time I bought a Christmas tree for the holidays and was pleased for how competitive the price was even if you do it yourself! Beautiful tree with all the decor! Saved time, effort and money!

HORRIBLE customer service. Theres an elderly cashier that treated me like it was my fault shes been there for over 10 years. Ive never been treated with such disrespect. So dissapointed with my experience at Michaels.

DONT EVER GET ANYTHING FRAMED HERE....IT WILL BECOME LOST, BROKEN, OR YOU MIGHT GET LUCKY THAT THE FIRST TWO THINGS DIDNT HAPPEN, BUT IT PROBABLY WILL BE RIPPED ,WRINKLED, or RUINED SOMEHOW
