Theres no better store to go to for almost anything related to art, home decorating etc they have the best prices as well. Typically we get coupons via email however most of the supplies are already marked at a really good price. Some are up to 70%. Also every time you check out you get another coupon printed on your receipt (40% sometimes 60% to use on one item) .The fact that some are even $1 -$3 its just impossible walking out without grabbing over 20 items at time. Store is super clean, organized and they are always available to assist on the floor. Check it out FALL season decorations are already here (Id say Halloween is ready for you to). Definitely the best place to bring your little ones as they have so many things for kids as well including art classes. Must mention the fact that theres plenty parking inside the mall structure 3 floors) after all this is Japan Town LA very popular spot with great Asian restaurants all around so once youre exhausted from shopping you can enjoy a nice relaxing break at restaurant :)

This is one of the more comprehensive artist supply stores Ive been to in Los Angeles. Not only do they carry a huge stock of sketch books and canvases, but they also have a wide variety of stuff that you just dont see at other art supply stores: items for screen printing, air brushing, paper mach and ceramics. Everything was clean and organized so its easy to find those hard-to-find items. I highly recommend checking this place out for your art needs.

I love Michaels in general, but have to give this one 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons - staff is not at all knowledgeable (I come in here all the time and only once has a staff member really been able to help me or know much about crafts) and they frequently run out of stock on certain items. Its still definitely worth a visit since its the only craft store in the area and they do an overall good job. Clean and well-organized.

I just came here to get some last minute house décor for Halloween for my home so that the trick or treaters would know that my house is open for candy. I found so much cute stuff! I was surprised because I thought they would be out of stuff since I came last minute but they actually had a lot of neat stuff. It was very organized as well which is also something that surprised me being the day of Halloween.

While this is a great spot to get stocked up on your craft making supplies, LONG LINES coupled with incredibly slow service makes this Michael’s location one you might want to avoid. On multiple occasions they have had multiple registers with one person working creating a VERY SLOW checkout time. Higher than average pricing. Clunky checkout experience. Avoid if possible.

You know how Michaels stores tend to smell a little too much like potpourri? (Maybe its just me.) This one, does not smell in that same pungent/cloying way. The staff was attentive, and the aisles are really clean and well organized. Also, this place seems very busy for a craft store. I had to get a custom frame with a picture, too, and the process is surprisingly easy.

Very unorganized. Staff is not professional.Classes are canceled without any notice. Summer classes very unstructued.Teacher is unable to handle the kids and class seems very boring for the children. Not enough employees on the floor for help. Seems like the staff does not have any experience with sells and how to use any of the products they sell.

Good branch in Little Osaka AKA Sawtelle Japantown. Free parking in a shopping center with adjacent restaurants. Michaels is a good place to buy frames, arts and crafts, and decorations for your home. Service staff are friendly and there are always good opportunities for getting deals if youre on the lookout for promotions and coupons.

Michaels is a great place for reasonably priced art supplies and craft materials. They have a fairly large selection, and there are always deals and coupons to be found. This particular store is always clean and well-stocked, and the staff is helpful. Plus, theres free parking in the garage!

This is a solid, clean Michaels. But I agree with a few other reviews that the staff can be less than helpful. Ive spent much time looking for an associate to help me. However, they have a great selection of crafts supplies considering the space restrictions LA puts on many stores.

Liked it better when it was located in Santa Monica, but this location has ample parking. Great place for crafts, puzzles and inexpensive gifts. With a coupon, the framing is relatively inexpensive, and they have a good selection of frames.

Anything from school craft, to art supplies , baking cakes, design and cook books, clay charms, colors, ...you name it and they have it. The one stop shop to go to if anything you want to do is remotely related to art. Best store in town !

The only real downfall of this Michaels location is the parking. I often find it difficult to find a spot. Your best bet is going straight to the roof top. Its on the same level as the store and not as jam packed!

This place has a variety of items for all your diy projects, school projects, party decorations, holiday decorations, scrapbooking etc.. Staff might be a little hard to find but for the most part theyre helpful.

Asked the staff member standing at the front for location of duct tape, and she pointed us right to it. Found plenty of cute duct tape designs! However, their phone service is ridiculously slow.

Great selection of arts and crafts supplies and decently organised. A little pricey but you can usually get a coupon for a discount on your whole purchase on your phone and show to the clerk.
