This is the WORST run Michaels store. I had purchased a Dragonfly pendant. The clasp broke the second I took it out of the package. I had the package and the receipt within 2 weeks of purchase. Manager was questioning if she would accept the return. As if it was MY fault the cheap import junk Michaels is selling now was broken. Manager rude, lines always long. I returned 3 items on 3 separate receipts. Clerk gave me change separately for each. When I asked if he could convert the change to bills he said had to ask the manager first. Seriously!? He JUST gave me the change! I didnt just walk in and ask for change. The manager almost didnt let him do it! The staff at this store cant think for themselves. Dont shop here. Go to Sunnyvale or Blossom Hill instead! Or better yet, find quality products for less somewhere else. At least 10% of the jewelry supplies I had purchased had problems or broke within a short amount of time. Most of the jewelry supplies are substandard imports. Disappointed customer!

Nice enough store, with nice enough selection. But the checkout-lines are awfully long & slow. If they either had faster cashiers, more of them, or--best of all--a self-checkout line for people only buying one or a couple of items, itd easily solve the problem. Many times Id go in to make a purchase, only to be discouraged by the long line at the checkout, which seemed to be barely moving. And when I would make a purchase, it wouldnt be unusual to take 20 minutes or more. There really is no excuse for that in this day & age. If they could address & correct that problem, Id give all the Michaels stores a much higher rating, as its the only mark against them, but its a pretty glaring one.

In general, IMHO, the price in Michaels is cheaper than JoAnn. The certain percentage of coupon is friendly then JoAnn (less restriction paper crafting). Too bad Michaels doesnt bring fabrics. The shelves are well organized. I never have problem finding items I was looking for. I wish this store had more designated one line queue area so it wont block the aisle. But this is just tiny inconvenience because I usually dont care the items in that are. PS: be sure to fill the online survey and get $5 off your $25 purchase on your next run.

If delivering here from i-280 south take wolf exit. Right on wolf. Left on homestead. Left de anza. After left turn on de anza turn right into driveway just past the good year store. Follow on up behind stores to the dock. Watch out for the wall when backing into dock, it will sneak up on ya! Dont get off at de anza cause you cant get in to docks due to island in the road. If coming from i-280 south you will need to take the wolf exit as well.

Went to two different Michaels to have pictures framed. Waited in line for a long time and ended up leaving the first location. Longer wait time in the 2nd location, close to half an hour, only to be told they cant cut the border of the print. Went to a frame shop and they did what I wanted surprised Michaels wouldnt do it. My print looks beautiful in my new frame from art and frame unlimited.

This Michaels has been in the location since forever and theyve managed to stay after the renovation of the plaza. The store is pretty big; Im not really an art person, so I cant speak on the quality of the products/brands they carry, but its a convenient store to grab stuff for an art project or event. I threw a wine and paint night and came here to buy my supplies. Check for coupons!

Really bad management here. They inspect and question every return minutely. I purchased a shelf worn knitting frame kit and they almost didnt let me return it even though I didnt use it. Ive seen the manager do this with other people, including refusing a return because she didnt have floor space for it!

The selections are wide if u are an art enthusiast. The shopping environment is conducive as its quiet and clean compared to other sites of Michaels. But the price here for the same thing found elsewhere is much higher, which might cause the leaving of customers.

This chain has evolved over the years from a true craft supply store to one that still sells supplies, but seems to be ever increasing its already-made project sections and decreasing floor space on supplies. They have become a tertiary stop for most supplies.

They have everything other stores have but the customer service not friendly. The lad behind the desk was unsure if she cld take my return and the supervisor on consulting by her made some inappropriate comments. The lady behind the desk want friendly herself!

This Michaels is clean, and has a large inventory of items, but has no cell phone signal so make sure you have all the information you need about your project before you go in. Much nicer than the Sunnyvale location.

While they have a larger selection than the one in Sunnyvale. That said- kinda a dump. Hard to find staff and long lines. However, if you have time (and maybe a map), you can find what you are looking for. Good luck!

Love going here to get craft related items, scented candles.. the environment is always so welcoming and cozy.. especially during the holidays.they have a great Christmas tree selection too!

Going here is like entering a playground. They have lots of local sales and classes that are free. The staff are very nice and the isles have a huge variety of products.

Great coupons! Pretty good selection. They have way better bakeware and baking supplies than steinmart or safeway! No real help on the sales floor though.

The wifi is the worst! And you always , depend on coupons in Michaels...but you cant use the phone with no wifi and no reception! Annoying.
