An institution of sorts, for 15 years Ben Franklin has been my go-to for art supplies and advice for projects for everything from making kids costume props to finding the best glue for balsa wood. The staff members here are highly knowledgeable and the store is festooned with their own creative examples. Im partial to their selection of spray paints, excellent framing service and I inevitably pick up a sketch pad or three when I stop by. Thats speaking as an artist, but crafty people of every flavour will find treasures here too.

Fun and cute little craft store in Redmond. My wife loves going here to find little craft projects to do. They have inspirational displays inside that you can either buy or get directions and raw materials to make yourself. Its like a PNW version of hobby lobby. Only negative is the check out process. They dont have a good barcoding system and have to manually type in an item classification. Makes check out take longer and the recipiet is not as clear if you need to return something.

I am a lifelong crocheter and have always been impressed with the quality and selection of yarns available at this store. The staff is friendly and I have usually been able to find what I need and want. I live 15 miles from Redmond, out "in the country" and am not close to any other retail yarn stores. The reward for my drive is getting to spend time and shop in such a nice atmosphere. I also prefer to spend my money locally rather than on line--old-fashioned but suits me!

Ive gone here over the years for various projects or holiday item... staff is always super kind. Most recently I needed some thick poster board which they cut in measured pieces for me for free (up to 2 cuts free, I think, in their frame department for larger pieces of stock like that). For some art projects, they helped me to learn and understand various choices... always friendly knowledgeable staff.

The people here, both employees & customers, are knowledgeable about their craft & have a genuine passion for fun & creative means of artistic expression. Theyre very accommodating & can answer questions you about your project & can offer alternative suggestions that will achieve the same or similar effect., When you leave, youll know you’ve got everything needed to finish your project.

I never would of guessed that I would walk into a Ben Franklin craft store again. I came from California a year ago, we lost our store back in the 90s. And when I walked over to the bead section I was amazed at how much they had. Im so happy I have a Ben Franklin store again in my world again!

My favorite art supply store on the east side. They really love bringing in new products and sharing them with people, and have an amazing staff. Great selection. They have good sales from time to time, though some of their items tend to be a little more expensive than competitors.

Would be 5 stars if the prices were not So High but the staff and the selection is Fantastic! I always try to come here for my crafting needs. Unfortunately when I am broke I have to drive to all the way to Bellevue to get the better deal but NOT the better service :).

Excellent for crafts! Can get lost in here just looking at everything, makes me want to be more creative. Helpful & pleasant staff. Some items are a bit pricey, I think. Framing section in rear of store like Michaels, where I suggest you go for beads/jewelry supplies.

Really good selection of general craft supplies - although they dont carry as much sheer quantity as typical big box craft stores, the quality and design of what they do carry is much better. As a bonus, Ive always been able to find someone to help if I need it.

Good place to find crafts. From painting material, to fabrics, to fake plants, to pens you will find anything. Stuff change from seasons to seasons. Price is higher than other places but you have a good service and location is great if you live in Redmond.

If youre looking for a place that doesnt have all the same stuff as a Michaels or JoAnns go here. Great project ideas and examples throughout the store, well organized and huge scrapbooking department. Check out the ribbons by the yard while youre at it.

Ben Franklin has a better selection of beading supplies than most craft stores. They sell loose beads like a boutique shop. The yarn and fabric sections are good as well. Overall Id rate higher quality and more unique selection than competing stores.

Ill never trust them again. Alienated my wife, a loyal BF customer of 40+ years, and I with crappy + old/rusty parts, a fascist attitude about a $10 return and an attitude that reminded me more of a prison guard than a retail store manager.

Gold mine of a craft store. Nice staff and large selection including beads and jewelry supplies. I was particularly blown away by the sticker selection though. Got my fiance lots of great stickers for her planner.

The yarn selection isnt huge, but its really good quality yarns. Im not a scrapbooker, but I have to pass those aisles to get to my yarn, and they look impressive--almost tempts me to pick up another hobby...

They have most things you will need even limited high prices fabric department but they DO NOT do coupons or specials so you will pay more than you would to drive all the way to Michaels or Joanns

So many hours can be spent here browsing! Nice bright store with a die-cut. Michaels and JoAnn have more selection, but this local spot is very good for most crafting and framing needs.

I spend way too much money here. haha! Staff is really friendly in the jewelry department. However, I wish they had a bigger paint selection. Their oil paints section is lacking.

If you like crafts, you will LOVE this store! Packed with goodies, with knowledgeable, friendly staff. I bring out of town friends here before we head for the Space Needle!
