I went to this shop looking for a place to try out and purchase a Montague Paratrooper Mountain Bike. This place is located just behind Valco Mall and it not particularly large. They seem to carry mostly "Specialized" branded bikes but they also have a small variety of other brands. What I love about this place is that all their bikes are quality bikes and different price points to fit your needs. In addition the staff were incredible friendly, knowledgeable and really love what they do. Upon inquiring about the Paratrooper I was guided through the folding mechanism, explained the differences in each model, encouraged to test it out in the parking lot and never pressured to purchase or find something more expensive. I purchased the bike on my first visit and was very happy. Im also very pleased to say that my bike had issues the following day with manufacturing problems and Evolution Bike Shop told me to bring it over and they fixed everything on the spot at no charge. Theses guys are great!

I went to this shop when it was Stans Bicycles and when I moved back into town, I was excited to find out that Evolution was now in the same spot. I brought in my 1986 Peugeot P20 folding bike, a classic. They had the small size tires to fit, they tuned it up and were really helpful and gave great advice about how to spruce it up a bit. They called me to let me know the bike was ready for pickup and were really courteous. Being a woman, Ive found I dont normally get much respect at bike shops, unless Im looking to drop some serious cash. The gentlemen here really know their stuff and are never condescending. They were cool even when all I wanted to buy was a $6 bell. Id recommend this place to anyone and everyone, from people looking to buy a family bike to racers and people seeking repairs.

Unreliable staff. I called ahead and they told me they had exactly what I needed and he had it in his hand. I asked how much to get it installed today he gave me a quote that was fair so I rode down to the shop. I get there and they dont have what I need and try to tell me they have to order it or I can buy something more expensive. Then they tell me they cant work on it today. You think that would be the kind of thing they communicate when you tell them your riding down "right now" huge waste of time, very frustrating.

I just bought a new bike for my primary transportation and needed a helmet and bike lock. There was no hard upsell BS, just friendly and knowledgable customer service from someone who is obviously a dedicated mtn biker. In addition to my slick helmet and super tough lock I got security tips, riding tips, and safety tips, all presented during casual conversation. The sales rep/ tech attached the lock mount to my frame for me and gave me a trail guide to boot. Ill definately go back when I need more bike stuff.

I went to fix a minor problem concerning my mountain bike, the staff over there refused to fix my bike and rudely said that the quality of my bike was horrible and that they could only fix it if I did a tune up first. The tune up was overpriced considering that I had a minor problem. I went to another bike shop and they fixed it for me immediately and free of charge. The staff is very rude and unreliable. I suggest going to any other bike shop.

The sales tech at Evolution Bikes was very helpful. Although the bikes in which I was interested didnt work for my short height, I was impressed with his knowledge & quick research to try to find a solution for me. He showed a bike like hed recently purchased for his <53" mother! Now thats dedicated salesmanship!

This bike shop has rude and irresponsible staff, they are open on the weekends but they do not do alignment on the weekend. Also they open at 11 am during weekdays, inconvenient timings for working people. Very bad experience and will not recommend to anybody.
