I had received $75 in gift cards for xmas & used them to purchase items to build a computer via several separate orders. One order had 3 items. I used the $75 in gift cards and then paid for the remaining $190 on a credit card. I had to return one of the items and had already purchased the replacement, so requested a refund to my credit card. Newegg refused to refund me the amount to my credit card, insisting that they refund it in the form of gift cards. I have already purchased all the items I need to build the PC, so I repeatedly asked for my money back on my credit card. The supervisor insists that this is their policy, which is RIDICULOUS!!! They have issued the gift cards back to me via email. They are forcing me to buy something else from them when I do not need anything. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND STORE POLICY I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. AFTER I USE THE GIFT CARDS FOR SOMETHING I REALLY DONT NEED, I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE I KNOW.

Newegg is TERRIBLE. They spend ALL of their time selling defective parts that do NOT work half the time, so people that already know their products are bad no longer shop there. So seedy Newegg hawks their junk through Amazon, and even ebay. If you look at their ebay reviews, they are nearly an across the board FAIL. Newegg, Stop selling your junk through amazon through hidden channels.

Customer service you wait between 1hour to 2 hour to speaks with customer service, I have an order that should be delivered a week ago, they did not inform me about not being ship. Contact them have a claim # and still wait after three days from claim. It was the best price what I was planning to order but the shipping is not working .

Try getting them to accept a return, Ive bought 50+ products from them over the last few years, only 2 returns. But each return issue was a problem. They never respond to requests, and when they receive return they create even more issues by not refunding for sometimes weeks. Very annoying.
