After spending amost $200 at their store on various parts a couple days before, I came back to exchange a fuse that was defective. The fuse appeared fine until you check for continuity. The owner immediately said all his fuses are flawless, and that I am to blame for blowing the fuse, and that Im trying to get a free replacement. WTF? Heres an owner that would immediate accuse a customer for trying to rip him off on a $2.50 fuse, with his my-stuff-is-perfect attitude. He reluctantly gave me a replacement fuse, which worked right away as soon as I dropped it in the holder. Ive been buying a lot of stuff from this store over the years because I can get them right away, and I want to support local businesses. However, after this recent experience, I will take my business elsewhere. The products, pricing and the staff in general are great to deal with, but damn, a little respect to your paying customer goes a long way. Not everyone is out to scam you of a $2.50 product.

I have always found the JK folks terrifically helpful as I blunder my way around electrical and electronic issues. This last weekend James diagnosed a problem I was having with charging the batteries of a mobility scooter. A factory-certified repair shop told me I would need an entire new motor because "when they get old, the batteries suck the life out of the motor." I may be tall and fat, but Im not stupid. James figured out the problem correctly. It cost nothing to fix. JK will keep getting my business from now until Judgement Day.

Look in this business we are getting slimmer and slimmer when it comes to service while having particular needs. They beat the largest electronics retailer in the US by not doing anything too special. About 15 years ago I went in and the manager/owner was difficult. Now he is a little more even keeled. Its like going to a store that is close by that you do not care for; youll do it with some reservation. Now I am more than happy to go there because every other "chain" place blows and cant support our industry.

Great for purchasing electronic accessories both old and new, everything is very organized and the staff are always helpful in finding what you need. There is pretty much anything you could think of here. They are a little on the expensive side for some items, but their products are generally good quality and have good value. Surplus items are at a great price and in working condition. I recommend picking up one of their catalogs for anything that you might need in the future.

Outstanding store. Ive been shopping here for around 8 years, and they are always happy to help and have a vast amount of knowledge. They are always ready to help order any special parts, and tend to have everything I need for Prototyping and Pre-Fab work. I wish they were open on Sundays. Its nice to see a store like this that still has component level items in-stock, unlike Radioshack and Frys, that seem to be loosing parts by the day.

Generally staff Is pretty helpful, but sometimes they are a bit cocky about their knowledge and, perhaps your lack of it, (which is why I go there in the first place) and they are a bit pricey on some things, but they are , one of the few mom-and-pop stores still around and I always try to help the small business man because Im one myself and I know the feeling of being swallowed up by the Giant conglomerates!

Excellent source for electronics, components, networking gear and more for all kinds of projects. Also great source for UPS replacement batteries. Very knowledgeable staff and much better prices than F**ys, RS, or Worst Buy.

Its a very helpful store,and think they have everything. they Blow mar vac out of the water !!! If i need something I WILL drive from Laguna Hills to Westminster to get what i need AND i know theyll have it .

This place is better than Radio Shack. More eletronic components and some of the components are rare to fine. They helped me fine the componets to build my first robot.
