I wish I could give 0 stars. I came into this place at 7 pm on a Thursday night. I just started feeling symptoms of what could be a sinus infection, sinus pressure, sneezing, itchy nose, etc. I go in to this grocery store for some cold medicine and Gatorade. First off the place doesnt sell Gatorade, wtf? Not even Powerade, never once have seen a grocery store that doesnt carry sports drinks. Theyve been around for the past century. Next, I look around for 5 minutes to find their cold medicine (confusing layout of their store) and it takes them man working behind the pharmacy counter to point to the alka seltzer on the hidden shelf shoved in a corner. So I take my medicine which was 9$ and on sale for 8.50$ and walk over to self checkout. I scan it and it says ID required please wait for attendant. I realize this is normal since it contains a small dose of DMT. So I wait, and this old half senile grandma comes over to me and asks for my license. *Side story I just moved to California and just applied for a California driver license so they punched a hole in my old ID that hasnt expired yet and gave me a temporary paper Id until the new one comes in the mail* So I hand her my Paper ID and my old photo ID (which isnt even expired) and she says hold on we dont take licenses like this let me talk to a manager. She walks away and comes back in 2 minutes and goes "sorry its against our policy to let you buy this" and I go but this is an official license the DMV gave me and my Id isnt expired she says sorry rules are rules rudely. I ask to speak to a manager and she points to some other senile old lady at register 10. I walk over to talk to her and before I even get there the lady is interrupting her current customer and shaking her head at me like she isnt even going to hear me out. She then proceeds to give me an attitude despite me pleading my situation and telling her how Im sick. Her name was Lisa Hauer and because of her I will never go back to a Ralphs again. She just lost my business forever. I also will tell all my friends family and coworkers not to shop there because of this. She makes me drive all the way over to walmart, I get the same product for 3$ cheaper and their self check out doesnt card me. And they even have Gatorade. TLDR: Lisa Hauer your actions are the reason why Walmart is taking over the retail world. They made my transaction as a customer 10x easier and didnt give me any hassle. I got my medicine after all and for 3$ cheaper. Thanks Walmart

The grocery store we deserve. I find Ralphs consistently the overall least expensive of the major grocers. Its clean and my biggest complains are kids trying to sell me candy bars outside, DARE trying to get me to donate outside, and that one employee who seems to be the only one I can find when I actually have a question because she doesnt seem to know where anything is or whether or not they carry it. Oh, and what happened to the Earth Balance Coconut Peanutbutter? Thats my life blood. Gas rewards are great, but only good at Shell which I find consistently more expensive, so I always have accumulated .20/gal off when I do stop there.

I agree with the other reviews. Poor variety in their selections and the store itself seems a bit out-of-date. I think it definitely needs to be updated; its almost like they spent all their time and energy in revamping the Ralphs on the other side of Burbank and just kind of forgot about this one. Either way, the employees are friendly and helpful and since this is the closest grocery store to my home I still shop here.

I only shop here when I just need a couple of things in an emergency. The store is older and in the past was not managed well at all. Long lines, no carts, shelves not maintained well. I think they have changed managers but the store itself is just not appealing so I drive out of my neighborhood to Vons or Pavillions because I like the stores, products and pricing better then I do this Ralphs.

This is a friendly neighborhood store. They do everything they can to help you in any way they can. I am happy to support local growers in their produce section. The staff at the meat/fish counter are great. The pharmacy is A Number One! They match my regular online insurance so I dont have to buy it through the mail and they know who I am. It is so nice to have this personal service.

This is my favorite Ralphs. (Doesnt anyone appreciate a small store?) I can get get in and out of there a lot faster than wondering the isles of those massive Ralphs stores. Manager Geri runs a tight ship and everyone is always helpful and friendly. Hope they always decide to keep this a small store. Theres enough big ones already!

So much shoplifting takes place at this location. Management and security legally cant even do anything about it. Recently saw undercover officer take someone out of the store. Lets cross our fingers that this isnt just a temp response from corporate.

I have been coming here for a long time. The prices are good and the staff friendly. They have a good deli and you can get grocery points that you can apply at Shell gas stations.

This place is the biggest piece of crap store ever. The employees are way cool. Especially William. The store is just bad though.

Oh come on we dont need two Ralphs in Burbank. Put in something else. Crummy service and terrible parking. Inflated prices too. Yuck.

Good layout, nice employees. They didnt have someone at the meat and fish area though and we had to wait for someone to help us.
