I love shopping here. Its our new go-to grocery store, even though its a lot father away from us. Overall their prices are cheaper than everywhere else. In order to lower prices, they have a few things that they do differently to save money, & pass on the savings to customers. For example, you have to bag your own groceries. Also, you have to pay a quarter to get a shopping cart, but you get your quarter back when you return the cart. Dont forget to bring a quarter so you dont have to ask the cashier for one. Its smaller than the major grocery store, but bigger than Trader Joes. Instead of a massive selection, of a variety of brands & sizes, there are fewer options, but again, cheaper. Because of this, the shopping process is a lot quicker & easier than wading through a large store. Its clean & well organized.

Germanys most recognizable grocery store is fast becoming a Southern California staple. The chain already owns Trader Joes, but is now branching out on its own. If youre looking for the essentials, with no frills or high costs, Aldi is the best place to shop. Be prepared to "rent" a cart (Einkaufswagen) for a quarter (which youll get back) and bag your own items. This level of efficiency, so prototypically German, gets you in and out quickly while allowing the market to keep costs low.

Very low prices, very nice customer service. They also sell a variety of things not just groceries. The cashier is also seated at the checkout instead of standing and then at the very end theres a counter where you bag your own groceries its up against the wall it was different but it was nice. Oh and in order to get a shopping cart you need to pay $0.25 and once you return it you get your $0.25 back that was cool,they make sure you put that shopping cart where it belongs. LOL.

This place is my favorite. Brand new really clean Staff are super friendly Parking is alright A/C is good Food items and quality are a step better than smart and final . This place is cheaper than most. There are a lot of tricks the store uses to keep costs low . No bagging, no stocked shelfs, Cart return deposit, and many more. The employees are well paied and have great benefits. This saves the store tons of money. I will be back for more . You should check it out too.

Absolutely my favorite grocery store EVER!!! Not a large store, but they carry most everything one would need when shopping. Most brands are private label, but the quality is always as good or better than popular name brands. The pricing is lower than anywhere else. Its never crowded and there is never a long line. I could go on and on about this place, but better than reading reviews, go there and experience the store on your own. Youll be glad you did.

This place has great prices and very nice staff. It does take some getting use to because you have to have a quarter on you to get a cart but you get it back when you return it. Also, after you pay for your items you have to move from the register to this counter so you can bag your groceries. I would give it a five stars because of the prices but the total experience takes some getting use to.

This place has fantastic prices. I originally started shopping at the one in Cerritos before this store was finished. I make it a point to try something new each time I go and I have never been disappointed. They have great customer service wonderful prices and have a great variety of weekly specials. The manager is top notch. Always helpful.

Unique store for sure. Its a store full of knock off (own branded) products. That being said, I have found that the quality of the product is just as good as the name brand 95% of the time. The packaging is very very similar to the name brands. It has become one of our "go to" stores. Great prices and good selection of products.

Finally Aldi comes to California! Great place to get great food at a great price. This is a totally different experience than most stores, however. Theres not a lot of brand names, but its the company that owns Trader Joes, and Ive never been disappointed. Keep an open mind and you might love it!

Really like it they have gopd prices on food especially on the veggies & fruits. Its clean and nice enjoy shopping there. Id give it the five stars but the Only downside is if you go in the evening be prepared to wait in line for a bit. They always have only one cashier.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and very reasonably priced. My favorite are the burger patties, they are just the right size and always juicy. Be very careful, their weekly finds are amazing and will drain your wallet quickly.

Glad they have one in the LBC. For a single guy like me, I like the no frills, great selection of vegetables, fruits, meat and frozen food at a high quality and reasonable prices. Wish they had one in DTLB but I am willing to make the drive.

Are you kidding, drove all the way w toddler in tow to do groceries, and we had to turn back because you wont allow use of shopping carts without a quarter! What if we dont carry change? Will never be back!

Very small, not alot of variety. Really good prices for a neighborhood store that caters to people who live nearby and need a quick cheap meal for the night. Would bot drive out of my way to go here though.

I really wanted to check it out, but I could not get a shopping car. Yoy need a quarter to unchain one, and i only carry my atm w/me. Nobody around to explain what to do, not very friendly.

Unbeatable prices on produce and dairy, thats for sure! However, Karl Albrecht retains ownership of Aldi stores and not Theo Albrecht (family trust) who retains ownership of Trader Joes.

Good low cost food. The meat section has deals; 1, 2, or 3 dollars off stickers. Lots of high-value ALDI-brand items like cereal and chips
