I recently bought a Ford F-150 XLT FX4 2.7L EcoBoost with Sport Appearance package from Ken Grody Ford in Buena Park. Before I begin my review, I would strongly recommend you reach out to Sonny Alavigheh, Blaine Gualtier and Mike D. this labor day weekend to buy the Ford you seek! Ken Grody has been the #1 volume seller for decades, so you will get competitive pricing amid factory rebates and rewards during labor day! Sonny is a gem - he crafts and balances product knowledge from Ford, dealership knowledge regarding rebates and competitive pricing and balances his knowledge with class, poise, respectful and sincerity. Sonny wanted to make a deal and I wanted to purchase this truck - and he made it happen for me. Again, let me repeat - he made it happen! Most floor managers and car dealers fail because while they focus on sales and getting the deal done, their main focus really is in getting cars off their lot (any and all cars) - SONNYs focus is on getting the car that you want to you at a price that is a win-win for both parties. He will represent you to Finance and Underwriting. Theres a difference and you can feel it from the minute you step in. I will also touch on the strong level of customer service and attention to detail shortly after I discuss my story. Blaine Gualtier and Mike D. first provided me an overview of the 4 engine variants and trucks and test drive of one of their Ford F-150s on their lot in Buena Park. Both men are knowlegable, confident, but most importantly very respectful. I found this endearing and important. I believe we live in a world, whereby due to information technology most of us have car specs, information and reviews online. Most of us have a fairly good idea of what we want. So, when I walked in I had made it clear I wanted a FX4 (four-wheel drive). Granted Ken Grodys dealership have more F-150s in stock than their competition, so Blaine had mentioned it would not be an issue to locate one - but, lets not forget FX4s are still not easy to come by. Not once did Blaine or Mike try and persuade me to buy a 4 by 2 (rear-wheel drive) and question my decision or need for a four-wheel drive. I respect that. Thanks Blaine and Mike. After, I found the truck of my choice Sonny was a true gem. He quickly found all the rebates applicable and offered very, competitive pricing. Sonny has a sharp eye, and has a strong attention to detail - and most importantly he converts this into strong customer service. He made sure his team washed my car, glossed the wheels and what I respected most is the fact when I asked if it would be possible to have assistance dropping off the car to my home, Sonny mentioned yes and found a porter brother to drive the car back, while I drove home the car I had driven to the dealer.

Went in to test drive a Ford Mustang GT and made a deposit to come back and purchase with my family a few days later. Over the phone they discussed monthly payments and such with me and when I was not satisfied, the sales dealer, Jerry, offered me a good deal by taking my trade in for a higher value. I was in the area and went to the dealership and Pierre the sales manager gave me a different deal that was still not bad. I told him to give me one hour to discuss with my family and confirm. Everything sounded good and I wanted to go with it. I called the dealership 8-10 times and each time either there was no response or they were busy. I continued to call till 10 in the evening before I finally got a hold of Jerrys cell phone. He said to stick with the original deal he gave me and I said alright fine lets go with it. He said since it was late, to call him in the morning to finalize. So I called him at 8 AM the next morning, no response. Called him again at 9 AM, no response. He finally texted me saying he was in a meeting and he would call me back soon. I waited till 12 PM, got no call from him. So I decided to call the dealership, expecting to finalize the deal and drive away with the car of my dreams. The sales manager Pierre answered the phone and told me whatever deal Jerry has given me is no good and Jerry is not authorized to give me such deals. Then I mentioned to Pierre that he gave me a deal as well and that we should go with that now. But Pierre said sorry, because I didnt contact him the day before he cannot offer me that same discount. I was so angry at him, I told him I tried calling you 10 times and no answer, plus the receptionist said Pierre left the dealership at 8 PM that night, but Pierre said, "No excuse me I was here till midnight", what BS!! Jerry was nice to me, but Pierre messed up everything. The one thing I hated was that Pierre said I didnt even bother contacting him whereas I tried 10 freaking times. Ken Grody by far is the worst dealer on this planet. There staff only things about making profits and are inadequate. I am going back today to get my deposit back, and if they refuse, boy I am going to take some legal action!! Thank God for Ford of Montebello, who not only had an excellent mustang selection, but also gave me an excellent deal. Kenny, the dealer was really helpful and connected to me at a personal level by inquiring about my dream car and understanding. Go to Ford of Montebello for an excellent buying experience!

Awful. If I could give zero stars, that would have been my choice. I went in on August 31st to test drive a 2009 Ford Flex that I had already been in communication with the dealer about. We took the car out for a test drive and decided we wanted it and headed to the sales office to work out a deal. While working on our deal, another couple came in and test drove the car and immediately went in to fill out papers as well. After coming to an agreement on terms for the vehicle our sales person called finance to let them know we had a deal, at which time finance told him that car had just been sold to the other couple who had come in after us. WHAT. As we were leaving, totally bummed out, our sales person told us that the other couple had awful credit so the dealer went with them because they would be making more money off of them after messing with their APR. WHAT. Never in a million years did I think that my good credit would be beat out by someone with crap for credit. Besides that, who sells a car out from under another customer??? Here comes the fun... as we were leaving we were chased down outside by our salesman, Jerry, saying that the owner, Kurt, felt so bad about what had happened that he wanted to offer us a "blow out" deal on a new 2014 Flex. Sadly, we took the bait, and back into the dealer we went. After another hour of back an forth, it turned out the "blow out" deal consisted of the normal Labor Day rebates coupled with a full payoff of my trade, which was not much of a stretch. We ended up leaving without a car and totally turned off by not only the dealer but by Ford in general. The best decision I ever made was taking my business to HB Ford this afternoon and totally scoring on a brand new Ford Flex SEL for an amazing price. Better than i even expected or that Im sure Ken Grody would have come up with. So if you are looking, head down to HB and talk to Nick and Pejman!!!
