I wish I had not purchased my Mini Cooper from here, but because I was in need of a car immediately and being a woman, did not know much about cars, purchased a car from Platinum Auto Sales. The sales guys were only concerned about making the sales, they couldnt even get my last name or address correct on the official papers. Which, you would think would be very important for the title. I have yet to receive them from the DMV and am crossing my fingers that I at least receive that since they made a big error on my last name AND address. I have had this car a little under 2 weeks and I got a flat tire on my second day of owning the car. I had to replace all four since they were pretty worn. Yesterday my hood scoop flew off on my drive on the freeway. There are a lot of items that I will need to fix, but these I did not expect to happen within 2 weeks. I know I signed the "AS IS" contract, but Im guessing its because they knew of the poor condition of the car and its to protect themselves from legal matters. It is what it is, but very unfortunate. The most I can do for the general public is warn them. The car you purchase from this company could literally fall apart within a few weeks. UPDATE: As for the owners response regarding item 2. That is a total knee jerk comment and very childish to say yeah, we cant predict a flat tire, BUT it should not happen within a FEW DAYS of buying the car. Your warranties are probably covered under a third party and thats another headache. I would prefer direct. As for you requesting me to call you. Customer service 101, would be that YOU WOULD CALL ME. You have my phone number. Im stating the facts, thats it. Flat tire happened (2 days after), hood scoop flew off (week after). Beware people, its a hit or miss with this company. Unfortunately, I got the latter.

I went to go buy a 2009 Cadillac Escalade at this rather interesting lot. This elderly lady named Toni came and greeted me and seemed nice, like a grandma type. I test drive the car and told her I would talk to my wife about it. She said it was there on consignment, the owners friends car and if I was interested to fill out an application online. We did. The next day she calls me and says she was going to shop lenders. One bank called me 3 times and grilled me about my finances which was a new experience. Heres where it gets interesting. She calls me and tells me that the bank wont approve me unless I get an extended warranty ($2300) and gap insurance ($800). I reminded her I was in the automotive business and that sounded pretty odd. I said so youre telling me that they wont finance me unless I buy your ext. warranty and gap insurance? She said thats not I said. I said no, thats what you called to tell me. So its not a prerequisite to get financed? She says no, but Im not selling it without them (the warranty and gap). I said ok, thats a whole different story. SHADY!!! On top of that she goes on to say that she paid $22k for it so shes not making any money. Then why the hell do you have it listed for $19,999?? And I thought its a consignment, you dont pay for consignments! I would stay way clear of this SHADY outfit. Go to a reputable place.

They claim do their own inspection, but i wouldnt trust it. I was in a hurry to get into a vehicle after a car accident and settled on a 2005 Subaru Legacy Wagon on June 16. After three weeks, the AC went out and the drivers side window stopped working and the battery was completely dead. I was okay with these things going out as it is a risk you take for buying a used car. Fast forward three weeks after that and my coolant light came on. There was literally zero coolant in my reservoir or engine (how this missed their "inspection", ill never know). I took the car in and lo and behold its a head gasket. My car has now been sitting in my driveway completely useless until i can afford to get it fixed. I have had all this happen in less than two months and placed less than 1000 miles on the car. I bought a completely faulty car in a rush that i cant even drive. Take you time and get the car inspected by a third party. I do not recommend this place.

I wanted to provide an update since its been a little over a year since I purchased my 2005 Mini Cooper from here. I purchased this car for a little over $5k and to date spent in repairs, over $5k. I later found out a few months after I purchased the car that the one of my rims was cracked and had been re-welded. I ended up replacing the rims and going back to stock. Within 6 months, my clutch went out. That was $1500 right there. I also found out that my muffler was damaged. There is a long laundry list of problems with the car. Bring a mechanic, if you decide to purchase here. That was my biggest mistake. The owner makes snarky remarks for every bad review and seems very childish for a business owner. I kind of wonder how many of the positive reviews are employees. If I can help prevent another person from this horrible company, then my job is done.

Dont know how they bribed good reviews here.. but buyer beware. I went with a buddy to look at a Subie they had. Price was fair and thats where the positives stop. They 2 sales guys werent too bad.. but lacked knowledge or feigned to lack the knowledge of the car when its shortcomings were brought to light. Despite missing all 5 headrests 4 open recalls 3 of which were of safety concern the owner/boss/dragon lady aka Toni refused to budge a dollar on the price while perfecting the art of rudeness. Unfortunately for us this was a unicorn of a car. Please be very thorough when buying here.. double check all forms and have your mechanic inspect BEFORE you buy it. If I could give ZERO stars I would. 1 star cause Google wont let me go lower.

I purchased a car from them recently and have been trying to reach the dealership all morning because I have some very pressing questions and have not received any calls back. I have emailed and left messages. Nothing. Update: I had to drive all the way down to the dealership, which is an hour away, to get them to answer me. And they filled out my paperwork wrong so I wasnt able to get financing elsewhere.

I called today to ask about 3 different cars I was interested in. And the guy I spoke to talked down to me the whole time. I didnt feel like he was trying to help me. It felt like he was annoyed that I had called. Afterwards he asked me how much down payment I had and when it was lower than what he wanted he didnt try to advice me on what to do. Very poor service
