I think the one bad review here was actually about the old smoke shop that occupied this same location. The old place (Coughing Canary) was seedy, weird, and had some jackass employees. Sky High, the new occupant of this location, is far and away the best smoke shop in the greater Phoenix area. I stop in at least every smoke shop I see at least once, as I am a frequent hookah smoker. I was actually just stopping in to this location to pick up some coals for my hookah which I knew they carried, but when I got in there I noticed the place was -way- different than I remembered. They carried brands of shisha tobacco that I never expected to see in a store, as they are usually only sold on specialty websites. They also carry a wider variety of hookahs than I remember. I was also pleasantly surprised that the people working there were no longer unsettling, dirty burnouts. But instead are upbeat, friendly, and knowledgeable about their products. The manager (I believe) shook my hand after we talked for a few minutes and I told him Id definitely be back. I now no longer have to order all my shisha tobacco online and wait for shipping.

We bought a hookah from another store and we were having trouble with it. We were driving by and saw this place, so we stopped in and asked the owner "shorty if he could help us figure out what we were doing wrong. He said "Yea man bring it in, stop by later tonight and lets figure it out". So we did, we got there and all the dudes in there are super cool and friendly, they all took a turn at figuring it out, they cleaned it for us, and gave us tips, then shorty came out, used his own stuff and made a bowl, we smoked for like an hour, and just got tips and talked lol... it was awesome, i dont know any business owner that would take an hour out of his time to help a customer with a hookah that wasnt even purchased from his store. We got it all figured out, bought some awesome stuff that he recommended, went home and had a dope smoke sesh. Thanks shorty. My advice for everyone is to never go to another hookah store, check sky high out, super friendly, and cheap to.

Great service, excellent variety and friendly staff. I called and asked if they had a specific product tonight , they only had 1 left and I live a good 15 minutes away from there so I asked if they could hold it for me and they were kind enough to set the item aside. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and picked up my item and was talking with an employee Joe that works there who was really cool and knowledgeable and also showed me some of the other products in the store I was interested in. Like all of staff Ive met there Joe was very friendly and had a positive attitude which is what I look for when I shop at any store. All in all Ive had nothing but good experiences every time Ive gone to this location over the last 4 or 5 years and thats why I felt the need to write this review tonight.

I love this place. I have visited many other smoke shops in the valley but Sky High is by far the absolute best. Not only do they have staff that are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about everything you can think of to ask them, but their selection is insane! They carry everything from vape items to cigarettes, hookahs, fluid for all lighters, accessories for all different types of items, but their glass selection is superb! Whatever you can possibly need or want you can find it here. And price wise, they will absolutely work with you on prices. Not sure why every bad review talks about prices but they have always been fair and have worked with me if I was not satisfied. Bottom line, there is a reason why Im at this shop literally 4 to 5 times a week. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

WOW! this is one of...no scratch that, this is THE best smoke shop i have ever been to. every time i walk in i am greeted as friendly as can be! i go in there to buy hookah stuff and no matter if i spend a dollar or a hundred they are so nice! there product quality could not be better! i am always satisfied with their hookah stuff and their costumer service! they are some of the nicest people i have ever met and i leave every time wanting to come back! They dont just treat their customers like money bags, but like actually people! and you dont find that very often anymore. i would steak my reputation on this place! if you wanna get amazing quality stuff and dont wanna pay an arm and a leg, go here! i bet youll love it just like i do!

Huge selection of bongs, but bowls and stems realllllly need to have more selection, for the prices being charged for vaporizers and mods, maybe a little more info on *why* they are so damn expensive and/or how they could be/should be used. Way too much emphasis on "local artists". They are really nice pieces, but crap are they expensive. It feels like a museum. In fact, I think they opened a museum in the plaza Zias is in. And I get "dont lean on the counters", so where *can* I lean, sit or otherwise relax a minute. So much damn glass in there I feel like a bull in a china shop or a big clumsy fat guy in a smoke shop. Oh.

I have been a customer at Sky High for a few years now but no more. Thanks to Joey he said his name was. I have spent over $700 there in just the last month. Bought a new battery on Tuesday and got home and it didnt work. I brought it back today and Joey accuses me of breaking it. Said we can go and try to lie to someone else. Then he gets into it with my fiancé and yells at us all the way out the door. Worst customer service I have ever received. Crazy to loose a good customer over a stupid $20 battery. Will never be back and I do not recommend!!!

Someone had broke my bong so came to this smoke shop for the first time and the employees werent very helpful especially the guy that was suppose to be helping me (kind of chubby with blonde hair). I told the guy my bong just broke and was looking to get a new one told him my price range and size and he just stood there didnt even give any suggested or point out which ones are which and I had to find him every time I wanted to look at one. So I just decided to leave and buy my bong else where.

Been going here since it was coughin canary which is a few years. Last few times I went in they sold me a cracked glass pipe and a cracked vaporizer whip. When I took these items back their idea of an exchange is them taking the product back and charging u for another. When I told the owner I didnt agree with it he replied "Im not gna take back something used on illegal contraband!" So long story short hes saying he wont take anything back sold from his shop. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!
