STAY AWAY from Appliance Depot in Tempe, AZ!! This is the worst place Ive ever shopped at. Heres why: (1) All of their appliances are either "used" or "damaged." (2) They have shady salesman who will lie to you in order to make a sale. Before I purchased my fridge, I asked both the salesman and the cashier if I could return the fridge if it had any problems. They both told me yes. They did not disclose the "final sales" or "warranty information" until AFTER they ran my credit card. (3) They could care LESS about customer satisfaction. Although their website states, "Our commitment to customer satisfaction is to offer a 30 warranty," their warranty ONLY covers parts and labor (and you have to bring it back to have it repaired unless you paid for delivery). (4) They dont test their products before selling them. The salesmen will tell you that they do, but I discovered that they dont. If you walk into their store, youll also notice that their appliances are not plugged in. (5) They do NOT value your time. I was told that my fridge would be delivered on a Saturday between 12pm and 6pm. I called at 11:30am to try to get a smaller window and they told me that it would be delivered within an hour or so. By 5pm, I was getting irritated and so I called again. They told me that they found a problem with the fridge and that I would have to wait until Sunday. This is when I discovered that they do not test their products beforehand because they obviously waited until the last minute before testing mine..... Plus, they kept me waiting for five hours and they didnt even have the courtesy to call me and let me know that they werent coming. At that point, I tried to cancel my order. I spoke to the owner and he didnt even apologize for the inconvenience. He just made excuses. He also refused to cancel my order and he refused to give me any money back. He wouldnt even waive my delivery fee. I told him that I would be reporting him to the Better Business Bureau..... (6) MOST IMPORTANTLY: They do NOT process any refunds what-so-ever. They refused to give me any money back despite the fact that I was extremely unsatisfied with their services; I was lied to by the salesmen; my delivery arrived an entire day later than scheduled; and they scratched up my fridge upon delivery..... I couldnt refuse the delivery because they wouldnt give me any money back regardless. The owner says all sales are final.

Do yourself a favor and don’t ever walk through the door to this "business". As a former “hospitality industry” employee, I rarely ever complain as I know that many people over-react to minor situations. That said, words cannot begin to describe the horrible service, frustration, lack of respect, and complete dishonesty you will experience when dealing with these idiots. I believe every word of the negative reviews below. The word “circus” absolutely describes this “business” and if you should be dumb enough to actually trust these scumbags with your appliance needs you will need to babysit them every step of the way. Should something go wrong…good luck. – Your first clue that this is not a legitimate operation should be the condition of the appliances they sell. If you walk through the “showroom” floor, you will notice the majority of the appliances are beat up. Yes…the appliances are used…I understand that. However these appliances look like they have been through hell and back. No appliance should have the amount of dents, scratches, and fading these appliances have. Your next clue that you need to avoid this place will come when you try to interact with the people in the store. Rude, apathetic, antisocial, arrogant, and smelly (seriously) are appropriate descriptive terms. If you are like me, you may accidentally wonder into this store looking for a good deal on a used appliance not wanting to spend the time on craigslist. You may be willing to pay a premium thinking it will be more convenient to pay “just a bit more” for one of their appliances rather then driving all over town and dealing with private sellers. Forget it! You will absolutely get a better deal and a better appliance from buying from a honest private party. If you want to buy used…go on craigslist and source out a good used appliance from an honest private party seller. Avoid this business at all costs. Buying from them and dealing with them was one of the worst experiences of my life.

I have my belonging being held hostage by this guy and he keeps blowing me off and ignoring me. I known this guy for a few years and worked for him as well and I can say it was nothing but a headache... I had been evicted from my apartment and broke so he offered to store my things in one of the spare office rooms free of charge since thats what friends do right... Well, I had no clue getting it back was going to be such an issue! This is my life he has and wont return... He seems to get off on f ing people over because the stuff he does on a daily basis is so petty and ridiculous its baffling how his company has even lasted this long! Bruce, I want my all my clothes, bed, kitchen stuff, both my small couches, and the wood drawer my dad made and all the other small things I have in boxes in two of the rooms.. Not to mention The Van I paid for that is packed with everything I own as well... !!!!!! I cant believe how petty you can be about things.. And to the point where someone looses their place to live and everything in it. Its like you did it on purpose too! Just to hurt me, why? because you could, right?!?! I tried to call several hundred times and no response and I even heard you talking in the background before. I took pictures of all my stuff when I left it and you assured me it would be under lock and key but several times I came and the doors were wide open and I know that u have a few "after hours" activities going on there so if any of my clothes or belongings are missing I will be taking proper action. I am going to try and contact you again to pick up my property and I hope you make the right choice and let me take whats mine and be done with this once and for all.. Youve caused enough suffering in my life already, just let me get whats left of my things so I can try to rebuild.

If I could give 0 stars I would. AVOID THIS COMPANY. I purchased a fridge for my companys break room at the end of July. They delivered it on a Friday and on Monday morning it didnt work. I called and let them know and they said someone would be out to check it out. Next day, nobody showed. I called and they said the next day. Next day and still a no show. This went on for 3 weeks. Finally someone came out and said we needed a new compressor, and someone would come out to fix it. Same story. I called and called when no on showed up. another 2 weeks they picked it up as they couldnt fix it on site. They gave me a rundown replacement refrigerator that smelled like mold. 6 weeks after that I finally got my replacement refrigerator. It is now 6 months after the original purchase and doesnt work again. I call and it goes to a voicemail that just so happens to be full. They call back and say I need to text them my information????? Really? Text my information? They said well thats just how I need to do it. Pathetic. Horrible. If you are reading this and work for this company, you should be ashamed to work for such a terrible company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Even though their prices may be lower. Youll regret it. Im just buying a brand new fridge just to not have to deal with these morons anymore.
