I was looking to buy a washer and dryer, and figured it would help to talk with a repairman. In the process of calling around I found lots of repairmen who didnt want to help and didnt have great social skills. When I called Appliance EMT I was greeted by a friendly fellow who knew his stuff. I was glad to be put on hold a couple times as he took other calls, knowing they were doing me a favor by sharing knowledge. He still treated me well and really knew his stuff. FAST FORWARD two months-- my dishwasher broke. Who do you think I thought to call? I called Appliance EMT in the late afternoon and got an 11:30 appointment the next day. The guy who came was friendly, fast, and took time to explain-- even crawling around to show me what went wrong! I LOVE their centralized approach- lots of handymen talking calls, and the employees care about treating people well. These guys know the value of good customer service and (in my experience) are seasoned professionals. Win win!

My initial call was saying that the vegetables were freezing, so the technician came and only look at that part and told me there was nothing wrong with it. I had to pay the $70.00 for the service but yet I still had a broken fridge that was liking water on the vegetables area of the fridge. I feel like the technician did not want beyond to really look what was the source of the problem. I ended up just buying a new fridge. I was not happy to have to pay the entire charge just because he did not went above and beyond to see what was the problem.

Do not use. Charged me $90 service charge to "diagnose" my dishwasher. We were told the $90 would be subtracted from the repair. Parts were the same cost of getting a new unit so I did. We were then told that the $90 couldnt be used towards installing the new dishwasher because its a different unit from the initial call. These guys are a bunch of rip offs. Cost me $90 for a 10 minute service call where he didnt even pull my unit from the wall to inspect and wouldnt honor their word on subtracting that cost from the fix. CONSUMER BEWARE!!!
