CROOKS! I bought a washer and dryer set from them and I understand that its not brand new and that its used but weve only had the set for 2 moths and we have already had way too many problems with the dryer. The first problem happened a month after we bought it. I was drying clothes and I started hearing sparks my kids were in there room and saw the sparks coming from the dryer. I immediately shut the circuit breaker off and then unplugged the dryer. I called an electrician because I thought it was the outlet but the electrician tested the outlet and it was fine so he looked on the back of the dryer and you can see that where the wires were coming out of was completely burned. He took the cover off and showed it to me and the wires were toasted and burn marks on the back. He told me that what probably happened was that as the wires were loose and 2 of the wires ended up touching each other. I called precision and told them what happened and of course they gave me a hard time because I didnt have the invoice # but I didnt understand why they couldnt look it up by the name. Anyway, we gave them the date of purchase and they were able to look it up. They still werent very helpful until I sent them the pictures of the dryer and told them that an electrician came and looked at my outlets and was able to tell me and show me why the dryer burned. It could have caused a fire because of their negligence. They wanted me to haul it back to their office so they can fix it but I paid for them to deliver it because I dont have a truck to put the dryer in. Later that day I received a call from Dave the owner saying hes coming out to fix it and needed directions. Dave came out to my home and fixed it and it was fine for a month. The next incident happened a few weeks ago. The dryer all of a sudden stopped. I called them again and explained to them what happened and that this isnt the first time we had a problem with the dryer. The manly lady there I forgot her name, was so RUDE. She asked me for the invoice# and again I told her I didnt have it and I didnt need it the last time I had a problem. At that time she told me there was a customer in the office and shell call me back. When she called me back she said she found the invoice and that I needed to bring the dryer in. I told her the same thing I told them the last time that I dont have car big enough to transport the dryer and thats the reason why I paid extra for delivery. She proceeds to tell me about the paper we signed stating that it was an in house warranty meaning we have to bring it in for repair. Now, Im upset because this isnt the first time the dryer has gone out and while Im telling her what the problem is she keeps saying I cant help you, you need to bring it down. I asked her to look at the notes and see that weve had an issue with the dryer before and that the owner Dave came to my house to fix it I asked to speak with Dave and she refused to give me a number where he can be reached. She took my message and called me back and said that she spoke with Dave and Dave said that the reason why the dryer went out the first time was because of the ventilation in my house. I was so angry because that was a LIE and I couldnt believe he said that. I have all the text messages and pictures from the first time we had the problem with the dryer and I told her that and she said well Im just telling you what Dave said, wow. She also told me that Dave said he never had any contacts with me the only person he spoke with was my husband which is another LIE because again I have the call log and messages to prove them wrong. Anyway, she then leaves me a message saying, the only options I have is to bring the dryer back and they can give me a refund. So, I was without a dryer for almost a week and they dont give a damn. My husband was finally able to borrow a car to take the dryer down to them and it was their fault because it was something about the ground wire. But of course they blamed it on the manufacture like they did with the first problem. They are LIARS.

I recently bought a washer/dryer set from Precision Appliance. The saleswoman was friendly, not-pushy and pretty knowledgeable about the different models and their features and helped me make an informed decision. When the delivery man, Richard, came with my W/D we realized the dryer would not fit in the space. Totally my fault for not measuring or thinking about this. Richard immediately called the store to see if they had another matching set that would fit. I talked with the friendly saleswoman again and they did have a set that would work. This new set was a little bit more in price, but she gave it to me for the price of the original set I had picked out. She also reduced the second delivery fee. I thought this was reasonable since they have to pay for gas again and probably pay Richard for his time. Richard came back later that same day with the new set. He made sure the dryer pug-in matched my outlet (they will change the plug-in if it doesnt match your outlet). He also replaced my washer hoses, as the ones in my apartment looked a little rusty. He turned everything on to make sure each cycle worked properly. I originally thought their prices were a bit high. I actually bought the exact W/D set that I ended up with, off of Craigslist a few years ago, and I paid half of the price Precision Appliance was charging. However, I shopped at a few other used appliance stores that same day and all their prices were similar. I guess this is just the "industry" mark up. Precision Appliance doesnt seem to be any more expensive than other used appliance stores. Im sure I could have saved a lot of money by using KSL or Craigslist, but I didnt have the resources to transport or install a W/D by myself this time.

This place is a joke. Im just a tenant, so I only had limited interaction with the actual company (the landlord dealt with most of the issues), but I would never recommend this place. My landlord bought a washer/dryer unit in July and about a month later all of my clothes were shrinking (it was drying everything at super high heat, but theres no heat setting so I couldnt adjust it) and then a few weeks later Id have to dry loads 2 or 3 times because it wasnt drying at all (but still shrinking my clothes). They sent someone out to look at it, installed a new thermometer (whats that going to do, guys? Nothing) and said it should be fixed. Lo and behold it didnt fix anything so when my landlord called to exchange it they kept trying to send people out to "fix" it. Finally, 4 days before the warranty expired they allowed my landlord to bring the unit in but they dont have any of the same units so he cant exchange it, and theres a no cash-back policy, so he cant return it. They offered to let him buy another one at additional charge. Dont use this place. Their service is horrible, the woman on the phone was condescending (yes, lady, I checked the lint trap), offensive (she said she didnt believe me), and I heard her talking crap about me to the other employees while she put me on "hold". Never, ever, ever use this place.
