After going to OMD monthly for a year and a half, were finding a new groomer. I was always happy until my last visit (in fact, gave them great reviews and referred all dog owner friends there). This time, I dropped my dog at 11am, and Susan said he would be ready at 3pm. I arrived at 3:16pm to find that my 5 lb. dog had not even been started. In fact, he was sitting in a cage shaking. I waited in that store (fuming!) for another hour and 15 minutes, part of which included a fascinating conversation between Susan and Jackies future mother-in-law about Susans bracelet and the MILs "fabulous hair." Not a care in the world when she was "running a little bit behind." Jackie apologized later when I declined to leave a tip. Susan, however, blamed me, saying there was no "out time" in her book. This makes no sense because 1) I live 40 minutes away and dont just pop down there on a whim and 2) who leaves their dog there all day with no expected pick-up time? I understand Saturdays get busy, but call your clients and let them know youre running behind. And when you screw up, apologize and dont blame the customer. Certainly dont take it out on the dogs. Jackie and Susan lost a customer and reference in me.

I have been taking my poodles to OMD for about three years, but after the way they treated my dog and me as a person, I will NEVER be coming to this facility again. If you care about your dog, you will do the same. I came to drop my two poodles off to get there grooming done. They looked good, but as I was leaving I noticed something did not feel right. My poodle Cosmo, kept licking himself and I noticed was not moving as much as usual. I could not figure out what was bothering him and after some investigation, I found a very large cut under his tail that mortified me. I rushed over to OMD, only for the owner not to be there and for the front desk to tell me there wasnt much they could do. As I proceeded to tell them how upset I was about the cut and the fact NO ONE said anything, they took down my number and said the owner would call me. THE OWNER WAS WORSE THAN THE STAFF. When I ASKED for a refund and compensation for the medicine I needed to buy for him (which I had a receipt for) he goes on to tell me "why do I need to compensate you for medication youve bought, youre not even coming back." Please reconsider where you are taking your dogs.

Do NOT Expect: *Good customer service *To communicate with a groomer that understands English *Cleanliness- the grooming area is very small and dogs are right underneath the grooming table where hair is falling on them *Them to ask you about your dogs vaccination status (pretty frightening to think the same razors being used on your dog could have been used on a dog that is not up to date on their vaccines) *To know what you are paying for ahead of time- they have hidden fees they claim are stated in their waiver form *The owners to care if you dislike the service *Your dog to be happy

This is the cutest store in Old Town! Jackie is great and loves all of her customers! She has a super newsletter and keeps in touch with us too! There are always lots of fun events hosted by OMD. Buddy and I went to Dine with your Dog last month and Jackies doggy chef prepared dinners for the dogs! To break it down, there are: Cute toys and accessories for the dogs! Great doggy bakery Great groomer/spa for dogs Fun events Great owner/staff Dog adoptions I own a pet care biz in Scottsdale and refer all my clients to OMD! Stop in today!:) Sarah

My dog looked absolutely lovely! Very friendly employees and clean environment. However online pricing does not reflect final pricing. I was only expecting to pay up to $60 for my puppy, according to online price guide. However after she was done I ended up paying $70. Apparently she had some bad knots. I have taken her into PetsMart grooming with some bad matting and only paid $55. Just clarify the price before you leave.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice... Customer service and professionalism are non-existent. The owners are arrogant and unhelpful, would not offer a solution after butchering my dogs cut. They put the blame on the owner and cannot admit their groomers are wonderfully terrible.

I got to work with Jackie for about a month while her groomer was on hip replacement surgery medical leave. I had a lot of fun and Jackie loves her store and tries really hard to service customers and their pets.
