Dont waste your time with this place, I just called to ask some quesions about some old books i came across and the guy who answered just told me they were probably worthless and just to donate them and then hung up. What a great way to run your business, why have a store if no one is worth your time and you treat people like they arent as good as you.

Alcuin is a treasure! Most books here are priced based on rarity and value, so keep that in mind. I picked up a beatnik era play entitled "Runic Meaning in Texas Cattle Brands" and an academic book covering the Rogue Indian Wars titled "Requiem for a People". Both were excellent reads that had a strong influence on my year.

I just called this store inquiring about the name of the product used to hold books open for photographing the inside. The man that answered the phone said "youll have to call back later" and hung up on me before he even finished the sentence. No thank you.
