My overall purchasing experience at this location has been average. They usually have a decent stock of Manga and books, but will often be out of the latest volumes for a series. As for making a return if you realize you accidentally purchased a book you already have, and have the receipt, be prepared. They say that they will extend their two week return policy to a month from purchase, but they really wont. Then theyll say they can process the return as a non-receipt return, and only offer you half of what you paid (even if you have the receipt to show what you paid). Their manager, Brittani Dodge, can be VERY pushy about you signing up for a membership, and wont take a simple "Sorry, Im not interested" for answer. Overall if I had the money to drive all the way to Salt Lake and go to the barnes and noble there, I would go there over the Layton Location.

I attempted to exchange a defective NOOKcolor with a visibly defective screen at this location. The manager refused to acknowledge the screens blemishes, citing disillusioned personal experience and pseudo-intellectual technical reasons. The manager became rude and hostile and insinuated I was attempting to fraud B&N. Even though I still had my receipt and was well within the 14-day return policy, the manager wasted an hour of my time only to conclude that I would be unable to return the device. I tried to go to a saner B&N, but the manager sent emails to other locations telling them to refuse my return. Their business was very unprofessional, unreasonable, and discourteous. Unless the management changes, I would go elsewhere.

This store is very clean and easy to check out from. Fairly easy to find the books you need. It was a little difficult to find someone to help me look for a book and she didnt seem to know much about the store when I asked her questions about it. But she did take me to the section I needed to be in, but knew nothing about the current sale taking place in the store. They have a sweet play area for the kids, which they seem to love! That is a really cool idea. They seem a little expensive to me, but I think they are comparable with other book stores.

I love Barnes and Noble as a general rule, and while this store does not have the floor space you usually expect to see, it makes up for it with the diverse collection of books which are well organized for the space. They lose a star from me for one reason only and that is the lack of knowledge of the staff. At the risk of sounding rude I honestly wonder how many of them like reading at all? Its uncommon and uncomfortable for a book store in my opinion.

Honestly my favorite Barnes and Noble to shop at so far. Its clean, presentable, and organised, plus theres even a little cafe located inside. Staff is usually friendly and helpful to answer your questions, albeit sometimes kinda slow. They usually have good deals/sales or clearance going on so its definitely worth checking out to help save money.

One can find a book for anyone here. The staff is obliging to try and offer recommendations and help. The kids area is... well... great for kids. There are toys and little tables and chairs for them to play and discover books. The Starbucks inside has good table space to work or meet a friend. Even during the holidays the employees are friendly.

Not always the best value!!! I found an item online at Barnes & Noble and erroneously assumed that the same item would be offered for the same price at the store. WRONG!!! It was 2.5 times the online price. When I brought this to the attention of the sales clerk, he said, "We not the same as B&N dot com, were separate." Buyer beware!!!

Everyone is so helpful and if there isnt a book here that you want they will order it in for you. The store set up is great with the kids center in the back so I dont have to worry about my child easily escaping. They also have a coffee shop located in the store so you can enjoy your book right away.

The staff is super friendly and ready to help! They also have allot of cool events for kids, book releases and even for the nerds around the area! Something my hometown Barnes and Nobles never does saddly.. So big props! Its also clean has good Wi-Fi and great cafe!

The childrens book section had a wooden thomas train table set up where my two year old nephew could play trains while my older nephew found the Pokemon books he NEEDED. Now everyday the two year old asks if we can go to the train store with books.

Great place to loose yourself. I can spend hrs here just browsing, examining books, and having fun. The selection is amazing and if they dont have it they will help you order it in. Easy returns if you pick the wrong book.

This Barnes and Noble is large and in charge. They almost ALWAYS have stock of a book I want, and the employees at this location have always been extremely kind and helpful!
