I went in for my first eye exam after experiencing blurred vision and eye strain/migraine headaches and was told I needed a prescription. I had never needed a prescription before, so this was my first experience with glasses. The first time I received my glasses back, the focal point was in the wrong place, so I couldnt even see through the lens I was supposed to be seeing through. Though, they didnt tell me that until I took them back a week later explaining the problems I was having with them. So, for a week, my eyes were basically crossing into each other trying to focus themselves. Wonderful. Also, my left eye was blurry, and I remember Dr. Coffman telling me that my eyes were slightly different, yet she did not give me a stronger prescription in my left eye. She kept them the same, even though they ARENT. When I went back in a week later to get another look at my eyes and explained the issues I was having (blurred vision in my left eye, eyes crossing/lack of focus), Dr. Coffman gave me a new eye exam and proceeded to strengthen the prescription in BOTH eyes. What? This is also when Dr. Coffman informed me that the reason I couldnt focus my eyes was because the focal point wasnt in the right place in my lenses--A mistake by one of the staff members. Not to mention I asked one of the other staff members to change the focal point on my very first visit because I knew they were off-center, but well let that one slide under the rug. Anyways, after feeling uncomfortable about the strengthened prescription in my right eye (which was COMPLETELY fine with the first prescription), I went back to Dr. Coffman that same night and asked if she could leave the right eye the way it is and only strengthen the left eye; the one that was worse (which was also proven through the image of my eye, not only by feeling). She declined my request. A few days later, I called to ask if my glasses were ready and I was told that they had not received them yet. I was hoping to pick them up on my way home from work. Fifteen minutes later, I get an email saying they are ready for pickup once I had already gotten home. Magical, huh? So, after squinting for 3 hours trying to complete my homework and waiting for traffic to die down so I could leave again, I went to Target to pick up my new glasses. As soon as I put them on, I noticed the right eye was blurry now. The one that was FINE to begin with! The left eye (which is the one I knew needed strengthening) was now perfect. I left extremely upset and almost in tears because my head hurts so much. I am a full-time student and worker and need my glasses for my every day life. My requests were blatantly ignored by someone who is supposed to be a professional, and I am now suffering the consequences! What a waste of my time this has been! I will NEVER return to this location again!

Most of the staff is very helpful, but Dr Coffman gets things mixed up very easily (and consistently) and then gets snappy when you try to straighten things out. I have one insurance provider, and my wife is both on mine and another. Dr Coffman repeatedly mixed up insurances, got names wrong on forms, and quoted prices all over the place, and then got upset when we tried to fix things. The first time we came in I attributed it to being alone when it was busy and gave her the benefit of the doubt, but our second time going in to deal with her was even worse, and we were the only people in there for most of our visit. Easily the most profoundly unprofessional experience I have ever had with any sort medical professional.

An absolute comedy of errors at every turn. I have never had such an infuriating experience with any optical store before. They ordered lenses that didnt have an anti-glare coating when I had stated several times that I wanted it. I had to return to the store, drop off the glasses, and wait another week for them to correct my order. They never called or texted me to let me know when my glasses were ready for pickup though, so I ended up waiting even longer. Then when I listed my complaints to an employee on the phone, she cited the fact that the store was very busy due to it being "Back to School" as some sort of justification for their horrendous customer service. This place sucks.

First off, my name was misspelled on my Rx, though I printed everything for them. Second, the adjustment that was suggested for my contact Rx due to a boarderline astigmatism Ive had for years, gave me the worst eye strain I have had in years. I will be calling first thing tomorrow to have these errors corrected and will not return. I was the only person in at that time or to be seen at all, and was more rushed than a last minute appointment I made at Walmart last year. And please dont tell me that my contacts which are suppose to be changed once a month need to now be changed every week so you can sell me more than I need!

I made an appointment at 10 am for noon the same day- they got me in right when I arrived, and Dr.Coffman was quick and very nice. I feel bad for the person above me having such negative things to say, since I had such a great experience! The assistants were excellent to work with and extremely tentative to what I wanted. I was in and out in an hour and a half- which is nothing considering I had to do a full exam, pick frames, choose contacts and have everything ordered.

I stopped by the office to schedule an appointment and they were able to get me right in. I was in and out and ordered my new contacts in less than an hour. Dr Coffman was a pleasure to be around. Very professional, knowledgeable and personable. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area needing to visit the optometrist.
