I have never been good at applying make up. I went and here today and bought powder. I had asked questions like what type of brush should I use etc. No one really acted like they wanted to help me. I need help! I was the only customer in the store. I asked if there were places that could help me or show me make up techniques and I was told I could go other places like Sephora. I found out after paying for my make up that I couldve had the people at Mac show me techiques or help me with makeup. No offers. I even asked for help. Why didnt I get nice helping staff? I Felt like the staff hated this job. I left feeling even more stupid and helpless and sad. Just please even thought you know everything about makeup some others dont know and please help others. Be nice inspire.

The makeup is the best the service was not good at all. None of the staff wanted to help me. I felt uncomfortable even asking for assistance but i drove from the other side of town because I really wanted a highlighter. I approached a staff member (Zachary D) and told him I wanted a highlighter and he continued his conversation with the other staff member and pointed to the eyeliners.... I said highliter again and he pointed to the eyeshadows... by the third time I felt stupid and he noticed. He rolled his eyes and started smearing highlighters on my Arm. I pointed out the ones I liked. At checkout I wasnt given a chance to give my information for my points... he said "that was easy" and handed me my bag. NEVER again will I come to this location.

I got my makeup done at MAC Cosmetics on my wedding day in April 2011. I showed the girl a picture of what I was looking for, and she did my makeup to my satisfaction. She suggested a powder to cover shine, especially since it was an abnormally warm day that day. After receiving some snapshots back from friends and family, I realized my face was much lighter than the rest of my body. It gradually got worse throughout the evening as I blotted my shiny spots with the powder that was clearly too light for my face. I think part of the problem might be the giant windows throughout the store, as the daylight coming in might skew the color. Either way, I feel I could have done my makeup better myself, and I wouldnt get my makeup done here again.

This was by far one of the worst shops I have been in. Customer service-HORRIBLE. One lady showed extreme annoyance in assisting me, treated me like a child and like I didnt belong in the store. I am a pro at makeup and at the time, i didnt have any on and she judged and assumed that I was an unpotential client. Very, very unfriendly staff with absolutely no social skills. I will never ever visit this store again! :( P.s. They did not know how to do makeup either, all of the employees had THICK caked foundation that was smearing off, eyebrows were very undefined and very apparent drawn over lips.. I would not recommend getting my makeup done here, ever.

Alfonso is AMAZING! Hes an exceptional artist and a master at the craft of making anyone look absolutely beautiful. He also explains what he using and why. Definitely request him for any makeup application services. All the other staff were just as sweet and made you feel welcome in their store. Cant wait to go back!

I have never left disappointed! Love the products, obviously, but the staff are always friendly and helpful. It doesnt seem to matter whether youre a novice with makeup or a God, the staff are so friendly and helpful; never leave you feeling judged!
