I just purchased a glider/ottoman combination from Babies R Us (this location). Twice I asked if it came assembled. Each time a different person. I was assured that, "the mechanical parts are all together and you just have to add the cushions". The first time was from the person calling me to let me know that the chair had come in. I went to pick it up and when the clerk brought out a pretty compact box, I again asked how much assembly there was and I got the same reply. So...I thought maybe the back of the chair had been taken off and the rest just condensed down. Got it home (a two hour drive away from the store) and opened the box to find it in a million pieces. Okay, a "million" might be an exaggeration, but that is what it looked like to me. Some of the holes had to be widened to fit the pieces into. There were 5 or 6 pages of instructions------all pictures. No written instructions. Hard to tell from the pictures what pieces were what. The lock and release mechanism had to be man-handled in order to get it to fit and stay in place while you assembled the rest. It took two of us two hours to finally get it all together. Plus, it is cheaply made (hence the reasonable price). Im hoping it lasts a year or two. Lesson learned: made in China and sold by Babies R Us. Not good. Will never buy there again. And dont trust a thing they say. They just want to get it out the door. P.S. Be aware of their return policy. You have to have the receipt (which is fine), but all in original packing, with all packing in correctplace. Once we had the pieces out of the box it would have been impossible to fit it all back in correctly. A nightmare.

I have been here many times and have enjoyed going here. I even registered with them for my baby shower. Unfortunately, my recent visits have turned this 5 star into a 1 star rating. To others this probably doesnt seem all that bad but I take customer service very seriously. I drive about 15 minutes to get to this location. When I get home I notice on the receipt that the cashier didnt take off the discounted items. I payed an extra $50 or so. Of course Im mad because now I need to go out of my way to go back to the store on a mistake they made. I called the store and spoke to Natalie. She wasnt the nicest so I asked to speak to the manager and Liz came on the phone. I explained my situation and asked if they could offer me something in addition to me having to come back to the store for a mistake they had made and she rudely said no and that I need to come in with the receipt so that they can fix the "apparent" mistake. She then hung up on me! I called back extremely mad and said "do you hang up on all of your customers?" She said she was "in the middle of talking to someone." I then said "it didnt sound like it, you couldnt even say bye?" She said "I did say bye." I said "no you didnt because I was waiting on the other line for you to say bye and you hung up." She said "ok bye." May I remind you this is the MANAGER and her name is Liz. How unprofessional and immature. I will no longer be coming to this location!

Very friendly, helpful staff. Employee spent a good chunk of time explaining how the double stroller I was looking at worked while another couple was waiting for assistance. He remained patient with us, even while the other couple didnt. Limited selection of diaper covers, however I could not hold the store at fault for that. Employees were aware of where the 2 options they had were located.

Love this store. Even my daughter loves it and she isnt even 2! Great selection of baby food and everything you need for baby and young kids. They price match! Always helped by friendly staff.
