Im looking to get engaged soon and was wanting to do some research on diamonds and what sort of stones were in my price range so I went to the Karat Patch. These guys were great. I talked with Cameron who is the owners son and he was happy to show me all sorts of stones and settings that were in my price range. Even though I was not intending to by a ring that day and even though I prefaced my visit as "for informational purposes only" he still took a time to show me what sorts of stones I should be looking for. I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a low pressure, honest, and helpful establishment to purchase any sort of jewelry from - which really should be everybody.

A friend I trust first recommended Karat Patch to me. After meeting Phil, the owner, I completely understand why my friend thought so highly of the place. Most jewelers I have ever dealt with are out to make as much money as possible, even at the expense of his clients. Karat Patch is a rare exception! Phil is honest and will do what is right, even when your not looking or dont know everything about jewlery. My wife and I bought our wedding rings from Karat Patch, and we will continue to do business with them. Great people who fear God. (Thats rare now days!) I highly recommend that you try Karat Patch.

Im giving this place 5 stars, but please keep in mind that a place like this is only as good as those which it employs. I had the good fortune of meeting with two separate specialists; and I was extremely surprised at their honesty and straight-forward nature. I feel this trait to be uncommon in their trade. The only downside is the shopping center in which they are located. It was a terrible center before, now doubly so due to the whole foods. I guess that actually makes this place a diamond in the rough!

Two years ago, I took my diamond tennis bracelet in here to get some links out and also to see how much was the value of the bracelet. Horrible experience. Terrible customer service. It was this older old white woman with glasses , (her face snd neck was very wrinkle)anyhow she just was not willing to assist with my bracelet. She said oh its about $200 to $300 dollars. Without evening touching it. I wouldnt recommend this place to any one. Horrible customer service. Stay away from this place.

My husband and I went to the Karat Patch to look for engagement rings. We spent over an hour working with a woman and when we came in a few days later she acted as though she had never seen us before and we basically had to start from scratch. (Very irritating when you are trying to spend $6,000 somewhere and they dont even pretend to remember you a few days later.) She also talked a lot about her personal health issues which made us both uncomfortable.

Abdul not only saved me a lot of money on the set and did it in a way that made me feel like my benefit was the only thing that mattered. Theyre not very good with watches. I would not trust them with a luxury watch. They were unable to remove a watch band Id hate to see what theyd do if you asked them to service a mechanical watch.
