I had a really horrible experience here. I brought in my fiancés grandmothers engagement ring to get sized because it was too small for me. A really sentimental piece. The first time they sized it, they had it for two months because it was the holiday season. When I finally got it, the ring was warped! I understand heat can make metal do funny things, but it wasnt even filed down and polished, plus it was too small. They said their sizer up front was smaller than the one he works with in the back. Why would you have an inaccurate tool if that is your main business, beats me. They offered to fix it for free. They resized it again and it was still too small! This is when they began to get rude and yelled at me in the store. Turns out, one of their front girls wrote down the wrong size, so the ring after 3 tries and $120 was the exact same size as when I brought it in...and I didnt get an apology for being yelled at and told I was lying. If you have something sentimental, dont bring it here. Ill be going to someone more professional to finally get it to the right size.

The Stone Jewelers is AMAZING! My boyfriend took me here a few months ago to pick out an engagement ring. I had no idea what I was looking for. I dont like large rings, or small rings. I dont like the gold. I told the woman, Jenny, working there all of my specifications and she narrowed it down to 5 or 6 rings. Out of these rings, I managed to find the one that was perfect for me. The only problem is that it was little small. Jenny told me that they do in-store fittings. We werent even looking to find a ring, just a style that I liked. I couldnt keep my eyes off of it! It was so beautiful. Jenny didnt pressure us at all to make the purchase. She was only there to help. She informed us that some of the rings are handmade by the man that works there. He has been doing it for over 30 years, and his selection is beautiful. Also, if you need a repair, they do it there in the store without sending it off. This is a wonderful service! Do not do business with this place! We bought our wedding set here. They were pleasant to deal with initially, but now every time I go in I get treated terribly! If you need any work done to your jewelry after purchase, you will wait months to get it back. If you call to check on progress, using the date they tell you it will be completed, the owner gets on the phone and berates you and calls you a liar! One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had! Even though I bought our rings there, I will not go back there unless I have no other option! He is unnecessarily rude to his customers! His work has always been sufficient, but I have an anxiety attack every time I have to go there because I am afraid he will yell at me and belittle me. It is not worth the anxiety when you have other great local jewelers you can work with.

I went in The Stone Jewelers just looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I brought her with me to look around and see if she saw anything that she liked. We werent looking to make a purchase, but she fell in love with a ring. The woman that helped us was wonderful. Her name is Jenny and she convinced us to make the purchase, because when you find the right ring, you know its the one for you! We are very happy with the service and the product that we have on layaway. We LOVE the layaway plan. We dont have the money to buy a ring straight out, but with the plan, we can pay as much as we can for as long as we can. I cannot say ENOUGH good things about this expert, local jeweler! Not only did they save me a fortune repairing my Ebel watch, but also - months later - put in a screw for free! Just simply nice folks who KNOW what they are doing. I highly recommend them. And although I havent made a big purchase of diamonds or such, I am confident that they would be totally fair with their pricing; that is a testament to their honorable values!

Worst customer service ever. Brought in a custom made bracelet to get fixed. The jeweler looked at it for 2 seconds & told me it was a piece of crap & couldnt be fixed. Mailing it back to MA to a real jeweler.
