Contact email for GamesPlus doesnt even work to give them comments... We have always shopped at GamesPlus and recommended it over Game Stop. In fact, I havent been to a GameStop in years. This past Saturday we went to the GamesPlus on Spring Cypress Rd. We planned to trade in some things and buy some games and accessories. For a complete GameCube with cords and controllers, 2 pS3 games, 1 Gamecube game, and a memory card we were given $14 store credit. The staff was not at all friendly and wouldnt take half of our items. They only had one of the things we came in for and it was way over priced. They used to repin an NES for like $20 and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about... They did not help me find anything or offer an alternative. We left and went across the street to Game Stop. For the few remaining items they wouldnt take they gave us $30 cash. They told us they would have given $20 cash for the gamecube alone. The games and controllers we would have gotten more for as well. They let us know that they didnt have what we were looking for in store but we could find it on their website and even pulled it up for us. One of their cashiers was a jerk and one was very nice and helpful. Still way better than this store. I was so disappointed. This store was literally empty and there were 3 employees so its not like they were too busy to help me... The items they wouldnt take (that Game Stop did) were: A 3rd party controller A zelda game (they said it was not in the proper case, game stop gave us $12) A charging station A ps move controller and 2 docks And they no longer accept movies even though they were unopened, which means the selection was actually very poor this time. For those few items we got $30 cash from Game stop. For more items, including a game system they sell for $75, GamesPlus gave us $14. I could even deal with the trade in Being awful if customer service was up to par.

I love this place, I really do, but as far as customer service goes, it really depends on whos working. I had recently bought a controller adapter for my Wii U that didnt work like I was told it would, so I brought it in to see if I could return it there. I bought it at the Cypress location and he told me I would have to return it there, Im okay with that, thats not my complaint. He asked me what was wrong with it, I told him it did not work like I was told it would so I was trying to get my money back. He then said, "Well they wouldnt take it back anyway because it was taken out of the box." ....uh excuse me? Duh it was taken out of the box. I was told I could hook up my GameCube controller to it and play my Wii U games and it would work?!? Like just so much unnecessary attitude. My boyfriend and I just walked out. We usually have a good time in there talking with the sales associates, but this guy was just rude. Guess some people find joy in making customers feel like jokes. I dont even want to go back to the Cypress location to try because Im so steamed.

I come in 249 store for older stuff that the Gamestop doesnt have. Nes, snes, sega cd and dreamcast. I picked up a sega gen/cd/32x for good deal and various other Games to other systems. The nes snes and n64 collection is pretty strong. Its nice to have a place close with a good selection older and classics games and consuls. The used stuff is also slightly cheaper than most other games store that have classic also. I have noticed other customer come in while im browsing with open boxes and leave upset. As another business owner Id suggest they post up some sort of return policy banner clearly around the counter area. Though i have an no issues or conflicts.

Okay, i was at there store 1 day and well i waited almost 1 hour just to know what my total on the games and well to tell u it was way to damn cheap for really good xbox system that i was selling and when i check there price it like 55$ and they say 5$ for a damn original working xbox, that is out rage they should at less buy it for 30-40$ at less i would accept that but no they just want it for 5$ and to tell everyone, never sell ur old games there, they will try to rip u off. this happen 2 time they try to rip me off good thing i was smart to not sell them, i better sell them at a garage sell for more money then this store.

Went in the other day for the first time at this location to make some trades and the two guys working here were horribly annoying. They kept rambling about stupid nonsense to themselves and came off very condescending (it almost felt as if they were on drugs). I couldnt wait to get out of there for fear of losing brain cells and after leaving just wanted to punch the younger of the two guys in the face. Also if you are a retro video game collector, stay away!!! They price gouge there old NES, SNES, and N64 games. Complete ripoff!!!

I like that they give the kids $5 credit for good grades at school. They give reasonable credit for trade and will beat game stop if you check with both. They will even call game stop for you so you can know you are getting a good trade value. Staff are friendly and geeks. So you know that they know what they are selling and what they are talking about should you have any questions.

Wanted a nes and a ps1 grey. Walked in and got nice working consoles and an in the box godzilla for the nes. Nice atmosphere. Two other ps1 games, and 2 ps2 games, as well as karate kid for the nes. About 130$. Ebay wanted about 180 for the same gear and did not include controllers and rf/comp cables. This store understands 30 yr old gamers.

They refuse to give me credit or refund for something that doesnt work for me, say just exchange it, we cant return it. That is ridiculous. Then tells me he knows the policy when ive returned things here in the past with no issue. Also this "manager" proceeded to tell me not to come back, dont worry bud i wont.

Told me I can return the game if I didnt like it so I came back and the employee told me they dont give money back even with recipet so he lied. This place is cool for old gamers besides that there over priced and GameStop is much better you can try games there and if dont like you can return it since its used

This place has cool stuff from time to time. I purchased a Mario Bros. Game & Watch at an incredibly cheap price from here (the employees seemed ready to get rid of it). The employees are friendly and competent unlike the attitudes often associated with GameStop employees.
