James was awesome. Super friendly, he even gave me directions when my GPS took me to the wrong place. He took some links out of my sons necklace (a birthday gift) quickly and happily. The work was flawless; even though I knew where he had cut, I could not see that the necklace had been altered in any way. He also happened to be the cheapest jewelry alteration price in my area. My husband brought me a watch home from Japan yesterday and I have a broken necklace in my jewelry box, both of which will be making a visit to James @ Ace first thing in the morning!

Not a great selection of jewelry in my opinion but I did buy a rose gold plated sterling silver ring that was on sale for $25. They have some selections of sterling silver earrings and many sterling silver and cubic zirconia rings. The fine jewelry selection is minimal. He replaced the batteries in all of my watches for about $8 dollars per watch and couldnt be bothered to charge me for simply putting the links back in another. The service was nice.

Went in the other day, was not impressed, looks like low inventory and he may be on verge of going out of business. To top it off, a very cranky and mean man works there (owner). Considering business is so bad you think he would be nicer. Bottom line I left and drove a block further to Winfield Jewerlers (on Plano) and got the treatment and courteous service I deserved.

I have been a customer of Ace Jewelry for many years. James is awesome! When I lost the diamond out of my engagement ring, James replaced it a no charge and it was over a carat princess cut! We bought a second set of engagement / wedding rings from James a few years later and he gave us a great deal. I will definitely go see him again very soon.
