Very few employees in the store, they are ringing up everyone at the customer service line. The manager was unwilling to accommodate me on the buy 1 get 2 free deal for the Animal crossing amiibo cards. There were only two left. I had been there before the last time this sale happened and the cards hadnt rung up properly and he begrudgingly fixed it for me when I explained that the sale is supposed to include the cards. So here I was, this time the sale was taking the cards properly but sadly there were only 2 card packs left, I was getting some figurines too so I requested the ability to apply a 3 pack amiibo figurine set as the "buy one" so the last two card packs would be mine. he refused... fair enough... the sale did only specify "All Animal crossing amiibo" 7.99 and under... the 3 pack set was 24.99, again, not trying to get that discounted... I simply wanted him to make an exception because there were not enough card packs to apply themselves to the sale. So I asked if he could let me get the card packs as a buy one get one instead, since there was no second one. (this would not change the sale price at all if there had been three card packs) otherwise, since there were only two I would have to pay full price for both... he refused to budge even for this so I walked out with only the three individual figurines. This manager lost out on my 37 dollar potential purchase and I ended up only paying the 7.99 for the three figures. I wont be going back to this particular location anymore. plenty of other stores out there who will price match me. Shame on this locations manager :(

I have shopped at the TO Toys R Us for 11 years. I shopped there when I had a newborn and found everything I needed at that time for my newborn son. I continue to find whatever I need at this store after having 2 more sons (ages 11, 8 and 6). The store is clean, neat and well organized thus I can easily find what I am looking for. I have also never had a problem with a return. The electronics department and the employees in that dept. are knowledgeable about the merchandise which helps so much with my older sons. The store is located in an outdoor mall setting which is ideal for families with young children. Across from the store is an outdoor magazing store with outdoor seating. Furthermore, there are 2 different places to buy ice cream: Coldstones and there is an old Thrifty style ice cream cone at Rite Aid (inexpensive but yummy). It is unusual to find a Toys R Us in such an ideal setting. For the reasons stated, I would give the store a high rating unlike the others before me.

I was looking for a jumbo teddy bear for my grandsons first birthday. Called the store and they were super helpful over the phone, describing all the bears that they had. Went in the next day and found exactly what Id hoped for, as well as a nice selection of FAO Schwarz toys. Again, the sales people were very helpful. The bear and I then had an organic lunch at Sharkeys just down from Toys "R" Us. The store is located in the Janss mall, very close to the 101 and Moorpark Road. It looks like a regular shopping center on the outside but the inner section has a cute little play yard for kids, as well as a number of coin-operated rides and a fountain area to play in.

It seems like most of the people up front dont know what they are doing. Theres a gentleman in the gaming area hes nice. But I went to guest service and had a question and I stood there right infront of them without a "Hello" or "Ill be with you in a moment" before they finally helped me, then they walked off and it took forever just to get a registry printed out! I think it was one of the supervisors or store managers, she was a middle aged hispanic woman (cant remember her name), she just didnt seem to care at all. Then my daughter has the fisher price doll house and they NEVER have any accesories!

This store messed up Gift Card I bought from them. They double charged me and could not figure out the reason. I was told the amount will be refunded on my credit card in few days. After my 3rd visit when the amount was not refunded - the Manager bluntly refused to even talk to me!! Said he could do nothing! Talk of Customer Service!! I will NEVER go to this store again!

This toy store is tiny, but you can tell that the inventory is carefully selected. The service is great. You walk in and the sales people look like they belong at a record store- young and cool. Ive only had good experiences with them. We drive all the way from Whittier to shop here.

This store has the worst customer service, ever time I go in I can never get any help!!! I call on the phone to see if they have something I have yet to speak with anyone on the phone abody ever answers. I live 20 miles away and dont want to go over to see if the have it!!!

Prices are not competitive with other brick and mortar retailers and nowhere near online pricing but if you have to have it now this is the place to go. The store is huge and has tons of selection. Staff is very helpful.

Decent store, if youre not looking for speedy and efficient customer service (Or at least on the phone). Tens of times they pick up and just hang up right away because they dont want to do the work.

Standard toy store chain. Nothing special about this location except that it is inside of the Janns Mall that has some nice restaurants, a movie theatre and other stores nearby.
