Dont go here if you are planning to get a good deal or any deal for that matter! I called in to ask if they sold Eternal Masters Booster packs / boxes and was given a price that was double the price of every other competitor both nearby as well as online. When asked why the price was so steep the manager told me it was because their "magic specialist" had recommended that price and it is set in stone. I asked afterwards if it was possible to get some sort of a deal on the packs or boxes if I bought a large quantity and was immediately told (I did not even get a chance to speak an offer) , "nope the price is set" and "I am the manager and these prices is what were going with, people will buy them at these high of a price and so therefor this is what I will sell it at". I understand you cant always expect to get a haggled price , but when a store marks up a product nearly TWICE that of any other competitor you would think there is some wiggle room or perhaps a better explanation than "I am the manager, this is the price." Also one friendly tip (I could give so much more but I will highlight this one), dont tell someone "I dont know anything about magic but my specialist has recommended we sell for this price" and then begin to get upset when I ask to speak with the specialist. It is no surprise that all the other stores nearby as well as online are able to sell their booster packs / boxes when all of them are nice and well knowledgeable about the prices of magic.

This place is an Okay play its not too organize. Most of there stuff is placed all over the store kinda makes it hard to find things you are looking for. Also most of their items are overpriced like others have said on here. There is only one person on here with 5 stars well maybe because his an employee or friend to this review is real money BS. As for the staff they are hard to get any answers from them and they could at least give a little care about the customers and a smile since we are spending more then $30. So if they could manage this place a little better then they could get more customers.

After The Strand, my favorite book store in CA. Although the shop is small, the selection is incredibly expansive and the main table showcases a nice selection of well reviewed current books. I always find something great to read in the discounted fiction/non fiction section (right behind the main table in the front) where you can find great authors, classic and contemporary. In general, prices are very affordable (esp the discounted section). Staff is also really friendly and even let me charge my iPhone!

[Good selection, but totally disorganized, poorly managed. many, though not all, of the staff are rude. I really want to go, but the experience is unbearable.] ...updated: theyve changed hands, and now the place is much cleaner and more organized. Theyve gotten rid of much of their vintage clutter. Focus is now on games and comics. Look for name to change soon. Hopefully the new management well be successful. Bumped from 2 to 4.

I love this place so much. Staff is amazing and the owner is awesome. Great deals and discounts prices are where they should be its awesome. Each time I walk through those doors I feel like I am reliving the past. I am that 8 year old kid with his brother collecting comics playing Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, NES, and collecting and reading comics all day having the time of our lives. Dream World is my favorite.

Very cool store, lots of fun things to look at. Went in to try to get some cards appraised and was told the "expert" wasnt in, but that he would give me a call about an hour later. Never received a call. Would have rated higher, but dont appreciate driving to the store to get an appraisal, being told they cant do it because the person wasnt there but would give me a call, and then never being called.

I have gone here many times and I really do like it. Personally, as an alien vs predator fan, that isnt even 18, I think they have a good variety of items. But keep in mind, since Im not of age to buy things like this by myself, it is rewarded to me and bought for me from my parents. My point is things here can be a bit expensive. Overall, however, this is a good store.

Like going into your nerdy uncles attic, youll find all sorts of vintage goods and untold nerdy treasures. But just like the stuff in your nerdy uncles attic, the quality of the stuff is middle to low grade and hes asking way too much for it. Also its a cluttered mess so good luck finding anything.

Actually youre wrong, this store has many deals through out the store. One of the few places that gives mil/vet discount and they have so much cool stuff! Great place for the older kids (40+/_) to reminisce about and possibly even relive some childhood memories.

This is a horrible place to shop for comics, and memorabilia. The owner, Jay, is only interested in your money. He rips people off every chance He gets , and tries to charm His way out of the fact that He just stole your money. Not a cool owner, or store!!!!!

This is a great comic shop with lots of stuff to choose from. Its got a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They are going to be changing their name to Infinity Comics soon but the location is still the same.

Everytime Ive been here they have,been overpriced. I came here today to check out some comic to see if they have them, I show up at 10 am when they open. And they arent open ,noone is here and its 10:15
