This place is great ALL OF THESE OTHER REVIEWS ARE BS!!! for one their games are either priced the same as game stop or cheaper, not more expensive, second you can find all the same stuff game stop has but unlike game stop, you can also find old games and toys and cards so basicly comics n stuff + game stop + internet cafe. third their customer service is pretty good. the only problems with this place are that the staff is consisted of multiple people and 1 person could run the whole shop so they might get confused whose turn it is to get off the computer and go help the customer & its a little too small for their huge inventory and therefore theyre unorganized. the "no refunds or replacements" review above is a lie, ive exchanged games there before.

The hours on the door said it should have been open. We look in the window and see a guy playing video games inside but its closed. While looking in the window another guy comes up and starts unlocking the door and goes in, not acknowledging us. Then a sweet little girl says "well be opening soon if you want to wait". I ask my son and he shakes his head, I said no thank you, maybe on the way back....definitely wont be going back until that little girl is old enough to run the place. She had better customer service skills than the two "men", thats for sure

Hoping this guy can clean up his act and his store. I dont mind that he has high prices but walking into any public place of business that is this filthy is disturbing. Walking in to a store where the owner and employees seem to be under the influence is very unsettling. I will see if this site will let me post pictures of what this place really looks like because I noticed that the pictures on here now are very nondescript of the actual experience that one shockingly endures upon entering this "store".

They have a Nintendo Switch but are selling it for $500, $200 above the retail price. Are you kidding? Its way cheaper to buy one from a rando on craigslist. But I was hoping that an actual store would be a little less sleazy. Makes me think that all of their products are way overpriced. Dont go here unless youre super rich, and then only if youre an idiot too. Not only that but the guy on the phone had a creepy vibe. Like I wouldnt want to be alone in an alley with that guy. Ya know?

Store was closed during hours the sign said it was supposed to be open. Came back anyways. Pretty impressive inventory with a few hard-to-find items, but everything is WAY, and I mean WAY overpriced. Some titles were priced for double what they should be. Seriously folks, dont go here unless you are desperate for a title this guy happens to have (make sure to call first). Would give 1 star if not for pretty good inventory selection.

From all appearances the store is very enticing, they have a lot of old school games and systems but they are WAY overpriced ($30 on up for ho-hum SNES cartridges) the owner is nice but seems more interested in playing his games than helping customers, the store is not well kept and looks more like game night at a college dorm, but if you want to buy hard-to-find systems used or un-opened than this is the place to go.

This place as a lot of games but if you want to over pay for them, the. Shop here. The guy that "help me" was in the back playing video games and when I ask to see the Sega Saturn games. He didnt know what that was. He also didnt know the price which was nuts to me. The store would be better if some one with knowledge would run it and price the games right. I would not go back.

He probably has a lot of rent to pay for that location and he probably knows he charges a lot but its an option take it or leave it. Everyone has their own business model and thats his so it is what it is. You dont have to buy from him or hate him. Hes not ripping anyone off. If you buy from him and it cost too much you ripped yourself off.

This place gives gamers a bad name. When people trash-talk on gamers, these guys are exactly what they are talking about! Place was messy. Needs vaccuming. Gamers on the PCs were swearing non-stop. One of the workers was barefoot with dirty clothes. BAREFOOT! Unprofessional, and nasty.

Poor customer service. My wife and I walked in and we didnt even get so much as a hello, the people in the back playing games looked up at us and went back to what they were doing...looked around for a few minutes and everything seemed over priced. I have no desire to return here.

Matched the gamer atmosphere to a T. Definitely felt at home immediately, played a few games of magic then picked up a guide to a really old game I have always loved. Definitely a store worth supporting, definitely getting a revisit from me if Im ever in san Diego again.

Id only advise a stop here if you are looking for overpriced games, potty-mouthed kids playing LAN games and uneducated clerks. The guy on staff the day I was there didnt even know what a Sega Mega Drive is. Dude, you work in a retrogaming store...LEARN SOME HISTORY!!!

Just stopped by here yesterday and love the place. Sure it could use some organizing, but i think it gives the place nice character. The owner is very informative and friendly. Also looking forward to seeing more Riot merchandise here- and more tournaments!

Has a fantastic selection, however it feels like someones basement, tvs and stacks of games and general crab all over the place, the fantastic selection is ruined by the crazy prices, there are more friendly, cheaper, cleaner retro game stores in town.

Cobwebs everywhere,the owner doesnt want to sell his stock .he has awesome games but wants way to much money for them . Asking double what some NES or snes are going for .I would buy tons if games if he would get his head out of his ***.

Horrible customer service When you walk in they look at you like "what do you want" if you look around they watch you like your Going to steal. And not only that the smell is horrible. ..who owns this place? should be ashamed

Way to over priced I can get my games on ebay way cheaper im not paying 69.99 for a game that I can get on ebay for 20 and I took 5 games to trade in but I rather keep them a big rip off

I spent 6 years of weekends at this store while i was in the navy. This place is a fantastic getaway if theyre still doing 72 hour weekend overnighters. Never a dull moment.
