Why is everything in this store already open? First of all, I bought some sinus rinse packets at the store that were supposed to come in a box with a sealed bag inside of it containing the packets but that had already been opened. I returned it and the second box didnt even have the sealed bag inside of it. I also purchased some jars of peanut butter but for some reason, there was peanut butter on the outside of the jars that I didnt notice when I bought them. There was even a jar that was only half sealed. Waiting at the pharmacy is a nightmare. There are barely any workers there and the lines are always long. It took almost an hour just to get a flu shot. You are better off going to a different Walgreens.

Ive had several positive interactions here, with employees, but the pharmacy no matter when I go always has a line. A line that moves so slowly. Los Altos has an older population so I feel terrible watching the them stand and wait. I cant understand why they dont always have 2 checkers at the pharmacy. It would make a huge difference. Or implement a take a number system to help the elderly. For now, I will take my business to the Walgreens on el Camino. Ive never had to wait there.

Pharmacy is really good and fast. I come to this Walgreens because its in the center of downtown Los Altos so its convenient for when Im going home. However - the customer service is lacking. They tend to not be helpful when youre trying to find products, and one time I was trying to return something and they told me to go to the picture counter, and then told me to go back to the original counter. It just seemed like it was a mess and no one knew what they were doing.

Google says the hours for "Wallgreens Pharmacy" are 8-10 on Saturday, but if you drive to the store, the pharmacy isnt open. The deodorant and grocery part of the store is, but not the pharmacy part. My Mom recently had open heart surgery and doc said she needed a prescription. Not cool that the pharmacy we chose on the basis of Google isnt actually open when it said it would be.

I went in near closing time and the two gentlemen who were closing up were very friendly and helpful. They had exactly what I needed, too, and I even bought some cashews on impulse cause I had some extra time (saved by the helpful employees) and felt good about buying stuff there.

I like to buy Caltrain Clipper Cards here. Sometimes there can be a wait if there is only one person working the register and they cant get away to the photo section, where the Clipper card programmer is located.

Would give this place zero stars if possible. Review is for pharmacy only. Poorly staffed and managed. Inefficient. Doctors can no longer leave a voicemail for prescriptions. Go somewhere else.
