If you are in Orange County and if you are Catholic you MUST visit Catholic Books and Gifts. This is an Orange County institution for over 25 years. While there are plenty of Christian book stores, this store is specifically Catholic and has a huge inventory. It is worth the drive down since there is no other store like it. Why shop online when you can support such a great local store like this one. Full disclosure, my parents are the owners this store in their retirement and it has brought them great joy

This family runs the best Catholic Store in Orange County. I went there to get a bible and walked out with all kinds of other catholic gifts. We always visit this bookstore while in Fountain Valley, CA . It looks small from the outside but it is very large inside with many levels. I always find an interesting book when I come here. Its a good idea to read up on this store before you visit because it has an interesting history.

I discovered Catholic Books & Gifts while scoping out the Gregory Aguirre book tour. Unabridged was one of the few stopping points on the Out of Oz tour. While I missed the event, I was able to purchase a signed copy as the bookstore had plenty of extra.

They have just about any religious book you could want. They have a wide selection of bibles for people of all ages. The people there are very friendly and helpful and can point you in the right direction if they cant get you what you want.
