Harbor freight in general deserves 5 stars. The customer service at this location deserves 0 stars. The employees here clearly come to work to run a cash register and get a pay check. Its hard to get them to care about much else. I purchased a folding trailer from this store. They had me pay for it first (which I was fine with) and then rolled a cart out from the back room with 2 boxes beat up beyond belief. The cardboard was torn apart and you could see pieces of the trailer inside that had been scratched and beaten badly also. When I asked the sales person for a different box, they replied "It comes from China, they are all like this". After arguing for a bit more with no progress, I took the original boxes home only to find that 4 pieces were bent very badly. I Immediately took those pieces back to the store and asked them how they expected me to assemble a bent trailer. The manager magically had another box that looked brand new and replaced the damaged ones. Overall, this was one of my worst customer service experiences ever.

Absolutely ridiculous sums it up. I called the West Allis store this morning to verify they had a plate compactor in stock they confirmed they had one but stated they could not put on hold which is understandable. So I ask to verify that I could use the 20% off coupon I received they said yes,great. I head down there after dinner driving almost an hour one way ,take the ticket up to the counter and the cashier says we only have one in stock and its the display model so we cant sell it. You could try this other store thats 15 miles farther away tomorrow cause we are gonna close in a little bit. Incompetence and extremely rude customer service I would avoid this store at all expense. I should of listened to the earlier reviews.

This place it the place you go to when you know better to save when you can. And spend more if you have to, tools cost a third here, not the best stuff but it gets job done right on a budget everybody can afford. I remember when I have to drive all the way to air port location. We are lucky to have HB in our area.

Theyve got great prices and great sales events. The product I bought there has been good, but make sure you check that what youre buying has good reviews online first. Catherine who helped me seemed to know about everything and was a natural with people.

A great selection and very affordable. I was able to purchase a water pump for hundreds of dollars less than other places I searched. The staff was very helpful in finding the product I needed.

Harbor Freight is always good. Went on the last day of the parking lot sale where items are heavily discounted. The downside of going on the last day is limited remaining stock.
