The truck or van rental section IS HORRIBLE, THEY DO NOT EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE AND WHEN U GO THERE, THEY ARE NON WHERE TO BE FOUND, THE PARKING LOT HAD THE TRUCK AND VAN BUT NOONE WAS THERE FOR ME TO RENT, THEN THEY FOUND THE GUY PLAYING ON THE INTERNET ON HIS PHONE. :( ALSO I WENT THERE FOR SEVERAL THINGS AND ASK FOR ASSISTANCE AND THE WOMEN COULD NOT EVEN READ ENGLISH ON THE PRODUCTS. PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE WORKING HERE WHO HAVE NOT GRADUATED HIGHSCHOOL. MANAGEMENT PLEASE HIRE PEOPLE THAT WILL DO THEIR JOB AND ANSWER THE PHONE. HOME DEPOT IS NOT PAYING PEOPLE TO BE ON THE INTERNET ON THEIR CELL PHONES. HOME DEPOT PLEASE STOP HIRING STUPID SLOW FOREIGN PEOPLE, PLEASE STOP HIRING FOREIGNERS WHO CANNOT SPEAK AND READ FOURTH GRADE ENGLISH. WHO IS DOING THE HIRING AT THIS STORE ? BECAUSE THE FOREIGNERS CAN BARLEY SPEAK ENGLISH. ARE THE FOREIGNERS HOME DEPOT IS HIRING REQUIRED TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK, READ AND WRITE 12TH GRADE ENGLISH ? I DO NOT THINK SO, THE FOREIGNERS THAT WORK HERE NOW, CANNOT EVEN SPEAK THIRD GRADE ENGLISH, I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT SHE WAS SAYING AND SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE COULD NOT READ THE LABEL ON THE BOX. THE PERSON HIRING MUST BE A FOREIGNER WHO IS JUST HELPING THERE PEOPLE OUT BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE THAT WORK HERE ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO WORK HERE. I WILL WRITE HEADQUARTERS. ALL THE AMERICANS WHO HAVE HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMAS THAT NEED JOBS AND PEOPLE AND THESE FOREIGNERS GET THE JOBS WHO CANNOT SPEAK, READ AND WRITE 12TH GRADE ENGLISH GET THE JOBS , THAT IS DISCRIMINATION. HOME DEPOT NEEDS TO HIRE AMERICANS WHO CAN SPEAK, READ AND WRITE 12TH GRADE ENGLISH. I DO NOT KNOW I WOULD NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SPEAK ARABIC AND INDIAN AND THOSE LANGUAGES WERE NOT EVEN TAUGHT AT THE COLLEGE I GRADUATED FROM.

Do not set up a fence installment thru them. They told me Id have the fence installed 4 weeks after receiving permit and plat servay. I never received a call so I called the estimator and he said not to worry they will call, didnt hear anything so a few weeks later he finally gave me the number to the project manager. The project manager then took over a week to get back to me but managed to call a day after I sent the estimator an email to cancel the order. To make things worse when the project manager called he was fumbling around for the information for our order and asked me questions he should have already known. He then says his team can stop by a that Friday which came off as though we were just being squeezed in. Finally 6 weeks of waiting it was installed but the fence want closed but we have a gap between 4-6 inches between neighbouring fences. We were never forewarned that this was a possibility and have been brushed off with excuses that they cant close them bc its a vinyl fence, the plat of survey may also shoe that those inches arent in fact our property however they cant find our plat of survey to be sure. I work in customer service and the last thing you ever do is have an excuse for a crappy job before even knowing the facts. If its out of our hands due to a legal document thats one thing but dont jump to a conclusion that nothing can be done. Im still trying to get this resolved and Im tired of all the back and forth. This place is expensive, disorganized and difficult to work with. Save yourself the money, time and energy and go elsewhere.

So Ive probably visited this store over a hundred times. Not an exaggeration. Weve purchased home renovations materials, landscaping supplies, appliances, outdoor living furniture, and about everything in-between. Ive had some absolutely amazing experiences where the staff is super helpful and really goes out of their way to help you out, and Ive had a couple other experiences where I havent been able to find a soul to help. No retailer is perfect, so thats a given. The reason why I choose to give them such a high rating though is that whenever there is a situation/error/problem/etc... they make it right. They dont want you to leave unhappy, and they dont want to loose you as a customer. Ive spoken with supervisors/managers as well as front-line cashiers, and that message is clear with each person. They know the business is cut-throat, so they make it right. Other home-store retailers arent always like that, so its definitely a refreshing change. I guess my final two cents are that they may not be perfect, but they do understand the value of a customer.

Customer service is terrible. I tried to set up a wedding registry here to get some tools. Turns out that is a waste of time. They say they can do it but they cannot. They will tell you that everything is good and you are all set, then a week or so later youll get a phone call from a relative that says the store cant find it. So you call and someone will tell you its fine they found the registry so you dont worry about it. Then a few days later your Mom will tell you the same thing, couldnt be found. Maybe now you go into the store and theyre able to find it but theres nothing on it. So they say they have tech support looking into it and will call you early next week. Friday rolls around and you still havent heard back so you call again and your told youll get a call back the next morning. At this point you should not expect a call back but you probably are anyways. Please dont. As I said at the beginning its a waste of time.

We had a 3K entry door installed by Home Depot. When the bottom weather-strip was worn out after a few months, I called for service and was sent a new piece of weather-strip to install myself, after the third time this happened, I asked for actual service and was told the 12 month warranty had expired and was out of luck, despite the fact this was not a new issue. I had to have someone else diagnose and repair the threshold that was not secured properly which caused the weather-strip to shred on one side. Has been fine for over a year and a half now. The shoddy install work was bad enough, but the worst part was the poor service afterwards.

They didnt have enough nuts and bolts of a certain size in stock so I ordered some from the Pro Desk, led to believe they would be there in a day or two, and directly told that they would be in within a week. Its now been a month and half and Ive had to follow up on the order 4 times (they never call you when they say they will). Supposedly, my order will be in next week but this is the 3rd or 4th time theyve told me that. Id have canceled it but you pay when you place the order. I only gave the store the 2nd star as Im giving them the benefit of the doubt that all of their departments might not be so terrible.
