I recently purchased a vehicle from Uptown. While going through the transaction I told them I wanted to finance the vehicle through my credit union. I was told not to worry because they would take care of it, and they would check with my credit union first. When I came in the next day to finalize the deal they said that my credit union declined the loan because of the mileage of the vehicle, so they offered me a different deal at a much higher rate than my credit union offers their customers. I followed up with my credit union the next day and they said that they would not have turned down the loan and they offered to refinance the deal at 2% lower than the one the dealership offered. I was flat out lied to by the finance representative after I had already told him my demands and how I wanted the loan to work. Once I got the car home I found candy wrappers in the cup holders, garbage in the trunk and the previous owners paperwork in the glove box, INCLUDING HIS INSURANCE INFORMATION AND ADDRESS. I checked the tire pressure and it was 15 PSI below recommendation and the oil that they claimed they had just changed was murky and overfilled, like they had just added new oil to the old oil Clearly this dealership cuts corners while servicing cars and they do not care about the privacy of their customers. I would highly recommend not going to this dealership for a new or used car or for service. I am baffled they are still in business when word of these kinds of incidents can travel so quickly online.

I would unequivocally, without a doubt or hesitation, recommend Uptown Ford to anyone. After our horrible, borderline traumatic experience purchasing our last Lincoln at Boucher on Hwy 100 in West Allis, I was absolutely dreading the car search when our other vehicle needed replacing. I neednt have been concerned. We stopped at Uptown after finding a vehicle online that interested us. Unfortunately that vehicle had sold the previous night, but Rich, our salesman, was able to provide us with other options and within 4 hours everything was said and done and we drove home in our new Lincoln MKT. Every moment we spent with Rich and Scott (the money guy!) was relaxed, entertaining and informative. They walked us through the entire process, patiently and thoroughly answering all of our questions, with humorous and fun anecdotes thrown in to make the process thoroughly enjoyable. Both men went out of their way to be accommodating and welcoming; I would actually even go out for drinks with them they were so friendly and fun (and definitely NOT in that "Ill say anything to get you to buy a car" stereotypically sleazy car salesman way we experienced at Boucher). It truly felt like the people at Uptown really wanted us to just walk away happy with our experience, even if that meant not purchasing a car through them, and I never felt any undue pressure or sketchy behavior as we had experienced at Boucher. I would highly recommend Uptown to anyone, and will definitely be a return customer.

I seldom take my reviews too seriously. My goal, generally, is to have fun writing, shine a light on a business that deserves attention and hopefully bring a smile to someones face with creativity or humor. However, my review of Uptown Ford Lincoln is, perhaps, the most sincere Yelp review Ive ever penned. It is simply this... Uptown Ford Lincoln is awesome. As exciting as purchasing a new vehicle is, seldom have I drove away from a car dealership without feeling at least a tinge of buyers remorse. I usually ripped off--filled with temporary regret that I should not have done what I just did. The process of buying had become an overly stressful experience. Driving away from Uptown in our new Ford Escape, all I did was smile. The entire transaction was stress-free and enjoyable. Our salesperson, Devarrio Raines, was a total pro. Smooth, knowledgeable, respectful--hes the guy you WANT to buy your car from. The business manager, Jim, was good-humored, fast and helpful. He even analyzed the best way for us to finance the vehicle and saved us roughly a thousand bucks in the process. Truly, the perfect automobile purchasing experience. So in summary, Ill leave you with this: When youre craving a Lincoln or Ford at Uptown youll be in accord Devarrio Raines takes away all the pains and Jimll help get all that you can afford!

From start to finish my experience was excellent. My sales person Todd Bertino was courteous, soft spoken not pushy, and very knowledgeable about the different cars and their benefits. I was interested in an Edge or an Explorer but also was unsure whether I would buy anything. My main objective was I wanted to try them out and I wanted something with many options. I drove both and Todd knew the similarities and differences, yet did not push anything at me. I became interested in an Explorer which Todd told me was just received from another dealership. Upon returning the Explorer after showing it to my wife, Todd told me the other dealership wanted the car back as they had a buyer. While that could have been a sales trick, Todd came across very genuine and again not pushy, just stating facts. I would highly recommend Uptown/Todd Bertino to anyone based on the car buying experience I had. The business manager was also very good to work with; a true professional. By the way, I love my new Explorer. Its a wonderful vehicle. If the service experience is as good as the sales experience I consider this a homerun. Thanks again for everything; Rick Witzlsteiner

I purchased a used 2006 Ford Escape from Uptown with satisfactory results. One month later, when the dashboard lights would not turn off even when the car was off, I took the car to their service center. I was told that the diagnostics would be covered since the car was newly purchased from Uptown, but they werent. For the service of plugging in a computer and reading its diagnosis, I was charged over one hundred dollars. I was further insulted that Uptown Service Center removed the stereo, found the misplaced wire causing the light malfunction and, rather than go the extra mile, requested an additional hundred dollars for the simple repair (no equipment or harware required). I repaired the problem myself in less than 20 minutes. I would never use Uptown Service Center or buy a car from Uptown Motors again. I depend on dealers for good, reliable service after I drive off the lot and Uptown Motors let me down. Something as simple as going the extra mile for a customer makes all the distance to me. Uptown Motors does not go the extra mile for their customers.

Normally I do not write reviews (especially for the normally painful ordeal of car shopping), but I recently got a 2013 Ford Explorer from Uptown and have enjoyed it so much that I had to break down and share my experience, as everyone there was attentive, polite, and helpful, which made this the best car buying experience I have ever had. I was trading in a Mercury Mariner I purchased several years ago, and got a great deal with no hassle on the trade in what so ever. The walkthrough of the trade-in and financing was very quick and painless, and I never once felt that feeling of "do I need to double check this" that I had gotten before at dealerships. I felt like I had a good explanation of everything, was given a great deal, and had no pressure or anxiety about the purchase. The icing on the cake was genuine the family feel to dealership, and that the owner and operator John Pentler came over to introduce himself and make sure everything went well. I definitely see myself going back to this dealership for all my car needs for me and anyone in my family in the future.
