I had visited Napleton Ford in Libertyville and purchased a used car. The staff was extemely friendly along with the General Manager. I personally worked with Jimmie Page with helping me with my purchase. I have had some really bad experiences in the past with car dealerships, but the people here totally amazed me. They dont try to sell you something that youre not looking for, they give you so many options to choose from to make the best possible purchase for a vehicle, and they provided me with the information on all the cars I was looking at. I have had my car now for 6 months and I couldnt be happier! This car is exactly what I was looking for and I have not had any problems at all. I have been reading these reviews and I am in shock of what Im reading. This dealership actually goes the extra mile to make sure their customers are satisfied and I have never had such a great experience in purchasing a car, I usually dread it! I have reccomended people to go there when looking for a vehicle because they are definately not the cliche car dealership. Its a dirty shame when people write such terrible and crazy things just to be heard and most likely "get something for nothing." I am a hair stylist and I work with the public all the time, and I have had people cause such a scene even though they got what they wanted just because they want a free service. This is a horrible sitiuation to deal with as a professional but unfotunately it happens, especially today. Even when you offer to give the customer money back they still arent satisfied most the time because they want to be heard and its not enough, and its sad. I doubt 100% that a big well known company like Napleton would do something illegal as to changing an odometer on a vehicle and put themselves at that kind of a state of jepordy. That is ridiculous! Thats like me, a professional stylist for years, purposly using a product on someones hair when I know its not good for them and can cause damage. Why would I do that?! This is my job and my job is to serve people with the best service I could possibley provide otherwise I would not be working and the salon would be closed. Napleton Ford has the same priorities as I do as professionals working to serve the public. This is their job, this is not a game. So for the people that have made these unbelievable comments, you need to think about the hard working people like myself and the people at this dealership that do this for a living. How would you like it if someone did that to you at your job and tried to wreck your reputatin under false pretenses? The people working in the Business/Marketing positons stride everyday to keep their businesses growning along with our economy, and then there are ignorant people like you that try to stop that from happening. People like you should be ashamed of yourself! You are a great example of why part of this world is the way it is, people always getting something for nothing from the hard working people and it has to stop! You are a disgrace. Napleton Ford, I will always be a loyal customer. Keep up the good work and dont let these unresponsible people stop you from what you work for. I know I dont! Thank you for all your services, I really appreciate it.

It just doesnt get any better than Libertyvilles, Napleton Ford. I have to preface our review by saying that we are not easy people to please so kindly read our review and double its value because we rarely give top ratings unless a situation absolutely knocks us off our feet. That being said I would like you to read on as I am happy to share my exceptional experience. From Mike the Sales Manager who made us feel like we were Napletons most important customers to Jason the Porter who helped us program our vehicles bells and whistles (a usual intimidating feat for most), the folks at Napleton Ford in Libertyville went above and beyond to make our car buying experience stress free. Yes stress FREE!! No pressure, no haggling, bottom line customer respect and no tension-it was seamless! We come from the north side of Chicago and visited another dealer closer to home but didnt get the right “feel” for what they offered, we choose to call Napleton Ford to see if by chance they could talk to us on the phone before taking the trip to the northern suburbs to look at vehicles. While speaking to William, we were “wowed” right off the bat. I explained to him what we were looking for and he fulfilled our wish list and found an EXACT match to the vehicle we were on the hunt for, down to the very last detail. We explained to him that we were Costco customers and the price came down even more. Yes, he gave us the price right then on the phone, no hassle, none. Next we scheduled an appointment for us to meet with a salesman who would show us the car. To not be impetuous, we waited two days before riding out to Libertyville to see the vehicle. Jim, our salesman was extremely knowledgeable about the Escape, and we jumped in and took it for a test drive. We didnt t just go for a spin around a few blocks, like we did at the other dealership near our home, he let us give it a TEST. We took it on slow roads, fast roads, curvy roads, we crossed train tracks and under any condition the car performed beautifully! Back to the dealership, Finance guys Victor and Rich gave us suggestions to save US money and we were sold! Their service was superb, their professionalism top notch, their demeanor respectful and on the top of my list they made us feel comfortable with the decision we made. We have never ever experienced a large purchase that was literally tension free until the day we walked into Napleton Ford. Do yourself a favor and the next time you are looking to purchase a Ford, call sales manager Mike Chiappetta at Napleton Ford, he’ll take care of you like family! It just doesnt get any better than Napleton Ford!

Excellent friendly people here at Napleton Ford of Libertyville, up until you purchase a vehicle from them. I worked with a couple people on a truck I purchased a little over a week ago, I drove all the way there on a Saturday from central Indiana. Great truck, great people. I was very intrigued on their claims of 119 point inspections on used vehicles and checked the truck out pretty well myself. On the test drive a few minutes in the salesman turned the radio on... Didnt think much about it at the time... Test drive went well everything seemed ok... So after thinking for a bit I decided to purchase... They already had the paperwork ready since I was coming from 4 hours away...They were friendly and stayed a little bit late to finalize the deal... On the way home I heard a faint clicking/thumping/grindy noise coming from the front end. I put the truck in the shop on my next day off a few days after purchasing, come to find out bad front lower ball joints. Told the mechanic j just purchased the vehicle Saturday and he said Id be contacting that dealership ASAP because this vehicle was sold this way...I contacted (tried to contact) the dealership didnt get a response about the situation for 3-4 days and the response was, vehicle is sold as is... The repair shop says it has been this way for awhile they should have noticed it with claimed 119 point inspection and thinks the dealership should be responsible for the repairs... The dealership thinks other wise... Ive been waiting to hear from used car manager for 2 days now they always seem to be out of the office or with a customer... And email isnt a good source to communicate with them either. Im to the point Im about to drive the truck back to them and Des with them face to face. There are dealerships here in Indiana that sell vehicles "AS-IS" and will cover any expenses on issues with vehicles up to 60 days after purchase... Here I am 5 days after purchasing trying to contact the dealership and they say sorry sold as is... Cost over $500 in repairs and another $30 just to get it looked at initially ... This dealership is a joke. "This vehicle should have never even been listed for sale with how bad the ball joints are." (Mechanic that checked it out) he also chuckled when I told him they claim a 119 point inspection... All I suggest is any vehicle you plan to purchase thoroughly check it out or take to to be inspected yourself before purchase... I got hosed on this deal.
