I would give this place zero stars if I could. Totally rude people, and full of lies and excuses when it comes to doing work on a warrantied vehicle. I brought my car in to have the front struts replaced after my mechanic of 7 years told me they needed to be replaced, at under 30,000 miles, mind you. He used the terms, "juicy," "shot," and "covered in oil." He even showed me how they were covered in black oil, and they shouldnt be. The rear struts, though, were dry. When I brought my car into Max Madsen, they told me only the right strut needed to be replaced, and the left was fine, which I knew to be untrue. I went ahead and had them replace the one. They also concocted a story that theres SUPPOSED to be fluid coming out of the struts, which is also completely untrue. This wasnt just a little bit of fluid. This was a large amount of fluid. Also, struts have seals on them to keep the fluid in. And, the rear struts had ZERO fluid on them. So, how can it be that way for the front and not the rear? A few days later, I received an e-mail from their service manager asking about my experience. I told him about my issue and he told me that they have to adhere to certain guidelines when doing warranty work. He told me to bring the car back in three months and theyd look at it again. I followed his instructions and brought the car back three months later. The service tech told me the same thing: that nothing was wrong. I knew this was untrue because the struts creaked whenever Id go over a bump. However, when he took me for a road test over some speed bumps, he pointed out that they were nothing was wrong. BUT, there was plenty of noise coming from the left side when wed go over a bump. He said the noise was normal, even though, AS THE OWNER OF THE CAR, I didnt hear that noise when I got it, or for about 20,000 miles or so. Later that day, I took my car back to my regular mechanic, put the car on the lift, and again saw the black oil covering the left strut. Clearly, something was wrong. But, since the car is under warranty, I didnt want to have to pay to have it fixed. So, I left it the way it was. My car just rolled over 45,000 miles, and both of the front struts are shot, again covered in black oil, including the recently replaced right one, and the rear struts are dry still. I will be taking my car to a different dealership to have the warranty work done since this Max Madsen is clearly incompetent and dishonest. I will NEVER go back to this Max Madsen for ANY reason, and I will NEVER recommend it to anyone I ever meet. They are rude, tell lies, and make excuses. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

If I could it would be 0 stars. NOOOO!!!! I do not recommend this place at all. last year I purchased a 2011 lancer, I was offered $1000 cash back and 2.09% interest rate by the sales guy. I asked him, are you sure Ill get them both? and his answer was yes. Before I singed the contract I ask the finance representative, "there is a offer of $1000 dls cash back, did you applied the discount? or how this work because I have no idea. His answer was, "yes, I applied the discount. So I singed the paper work and after a few days, I realize something was wrong. I checked the contract and find out I did not get the $1000 cash back and my interest rate was 6.15%. I call the dialer and explained the situation to one of the managers and he told me that I did not got the cash back because Mitsubishi financed me. And I did not got the 2.09% interest rate because that offer was for 60 months and I got the loan for 72 months (which they never told me that). I explained the manager that is not what I was told by the sales guy. I explained him the deal he offered me, that finance representative told me he applied the discount, and I told him that I was very upset because THEY LIED TO ME!!!. He told me he was going to talk to the owner to see what could be done, because they did not want me to be upset, that he was going to call me later, never heard back from him. I went back to the dealer later and explain my situation to the finance representative (to the one that I closed the deal with.) I told him, "I asked you if you applied the discount and you said yes. He only looked at me and it was obvious he was very upset. He did not wanted to give me the 2.09% interest rate and his excuse was, "we have months that we do not offer that rate". So now the lair is me right? I was so mad that I ended canceling the extra warranty I purchase with them and the guy was so RUDE with me because of that. I ended refinancing my car with my bank and they give me a much lower interest rate, and a much chipper GAP insurance. NO, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. THEY ARE LIARS AND RUDE PEOPLE.

I wanted to go in this dealership liking them, but they really ended up trying to scam me. I am not a rich girl and my car was unexpectedly totaled so I had virtually no money saved up for another. I went in on a Tuesday late night, and salesman Galeco said he was 90% sure I would be approved the next morning. He asked me to leave my deposit, so I gave $300 in CASH and $500 on a Credit Card. I found out the next afternoon that I couldnt be approved for the car of choice (costing $7,500) because its miles were too high (above 60k) and so they tried to convince me to buy a different car that was $11K when I came back to pick up my deposit since they were unable to approve me! I had called and told them I was planning to come in and get my deposit back hours in advance, but they still sat around and chewed up 45 minutes of my time until the CC refund. Then they told me I couldnt get the $300 cash back! They were going to have to issue me a check the next day. So now Ill have to end up driving from Chicago to Downers Grove THREE times and still have no car. In the meantime, they have taken my deposit of $800 at 90% sure and been wrong, so I have to wait until the credit card is refunded and the check has been deposited and cleared before I can go out and try to purchase another car at a different dealership. Thanks a lot for Nothing.

Professional-Family-Love I have been doing business with this family for many many years. I recently went in to there state of the art facility and was greeted like my family does. Aj just an excellent guy, Mike R. always carrying a smile, Kenny as well. Scott is a great guy and always listens. Now ....for the previously stated review i could not disagree more. Marc is one of the kindest, open hearted and compassionate human beings I came across. This is reflected by Mr. Scott Grove who is by far setting example to this dealership. Everyone here is professional, respectful and will even run around and play with your kids like they are there own. Marc is a funny and well behave guy. My calls are ALWAYS returned. If you are looking for a junk vehicle, with some runaround schmucks to deliver your vehicle than by all means DO NOT COME HERE. Everyone comes here because of the family oriented, bright eyed, smiling staff. Every Saturday it seems they have everything to fullfill your speed limit and sugar craving. So if you are looking for a business that has taken the grasp on professionalism, open there hearts to the customers, and never let you down the way Family is suppose to than COME ON IN AND ASK FOR MARC!!!!! You will, like myself, will NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED. THANK YOU MAX AND FAMILY -8 year customer and going.
