DO NOT GO HERE!!! I EVEN KNOW THE OWNER AND THEY STILL SCREWED ME!!! I wrote my story below if you want to suffer through that but scroll to the end for some advice that you NEED if youre thinking about doing business with Tessone. HOW THEY SCREW YOU: THEY DONT FULLY CHECK THEIR CARS BEFORE THEY SELL THEM. - BESIDES BASIC OIL CHECK, TIRE CHECK, EXTERIOR WIPE DOWN, AND INTERIOR VACUUM. - THEN THEY LOOK AT THE SPEEDOMETER, DRIVE IT FOR A BLOCK, THEN SLAP A PRICE ON IT. - THEY ALSO HAVE A CHILD COLLECT YOUR MONEY AND RUSH YOU OFF THE PHONE. MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: I moved from Illinois to North Carolina and I had got a car from Tessone in August. It seemed like a great deal and was running smoothly for a slightly decent price. Little did I know at the time, that the car had rust in the framework that was a ticking time bomb. Six months later, I was cruising in NC when my wheel started sticking when I went to turn. So I got it checked. Found out the frame was completely rusted through and the mechanic said "Im surprised the engine and trans havent hit the floor! This takes years to accumulate this much rust!" (I had the car for 6 months...) So I called up Tessone and they said they would trade in my car if I was able to tow my current one back to Illinois (700miles away) So I spent $700 for towing and got there after a month of getting the money for the tow. When we dropped off the car and took it off the dolly, The engine and trans slapped the ground. They told me to wait 2 days because they didnt have time for me that day... So since I was stranded, I had no other choice but to wait... Two days pass and I come back to Tessone and follow Chip outside (Chip is one of the Silver-Tongued dealers there. He talks quick and tries to land instant sales. Think before answering this man. Hell really push you to buy or finance NOW.) So I get outside and this old beat up honda from the early 90s shows up with ripped up seats and flooring, weird and nasty black stains all over the interior, the radio and air control unit is ripped out with wires hanging, cracked windshield, and rust EVERYWHERE! Chip says "Here it is." (Now this car is replacing a 96 Ford Taurus with a well-kept interior, no rust on the body, and 60k miles) I laugh hysterically and say "Are you serious?" Chip replies "Yeah! take it for a spin! It drives better than it looks!" So i humor him and get in the car... I turn on the engine and it makes a loud noise a guzzles like a diesel engine would. Then I attempted to roll the window down and it started making a loud consistent clicking noise that didnt even stop when i shut off the car! And they wanted me to pay $3000 for this piece of junk! Ive had cars for $400 that looked and ran better than the one presented to me. Naturally I was insulted so I went back into the dealer and said "I cant take that car Chip. Its not even a car and I told you two days ago that I could afford a better car than the Taurus." He replies with "Well thats the only car we have for you. Take it or leave it." I told him "I cant take that car Chip and I spent all my money to get here so I can return home with a proper vehicle." His only reply after that was "Well then I hope you can get back to North Carolina. Get a bus ticket or somethin." I the had to take the week off from work and borrow cash to rent a car. Now Im financing a car from a chain dealership. with NO problems. MY ADVICE: Finance or buy from a chain dealership or a business that checks their cars all around. Tessone will never make you happy you chose them. They are scammers and rude as all hell. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Bought my mom a vw beetle cash, they refused to send me the plates till I went there and threatened them with my brothers after her temp plates expired, they apoligized. Ive also had problems with the car since I the day i bought it. Check engine light came on the DAY AFTER i bought it, its a 6 hour drive to my house so I couldnt take it back. They said "dont worry week fox it, drove SIX HOURS BACK to get there only to have them delete the code and tell me everything was fine. The light still comes on, epc light comes on, engine looses power and I have to spend an extra grand to have multiple sensors and the water pump changed, long story short, these guys suck, dont buy them.

OMG everything all of you guys are saying about Tessone Motors is TRUE. I was there this past Thursday to look at a car. I told him i wanted the car that i will pay cash for it. he said ok i cant give you the title today because the secretary is not here but i can send the title by mail. BS everyone knows thats bs. He really thought i was going to say ok sure. No way after reading all this reviews. This place shouldnt even exist there so unprofessional and ones they see that they cant make you stupid they get mad. this place is a joke people. Dont even go to this dealer. your better of buying a car from a private owner.

My wife searched the web and found the truck we were looking for. We drove to Lockport IL., to Tessone Motors. Traded for a nice looking Ford F250. Didnt check the cruise control on the test drive, and found out on the way home it did not work. After taking it to a local shop here in town(Muncie,IN) have been told it will cost $1300 dollars to replace the defective cruise module. Since they had me sign an "as is" form, I know nothing will be done by Tessone. Waiting still, after a week, ( Chip said two days.) for them to mail the title.? Save your time and money, dont go there!

Bought a van with many many problems: fewer seats than listed, broken seat belt, sliding door not secure, cheap paint job to look clean (paint chipped off after 2 months), van comprised of different parts that dont fit right, the entire interior compartment of van filled with old food and garbage, , and finally after more than 2 months they still have not filed for our license. DO NOT BUY from this dealer!!!!!

Horrible dealership. They are rude, waste your time, they will swear at you. If you dont buy one of their vehicles they will call you 9+ times a day at all hours of the day including Sunday trying to get you to buy it.
