People were very nice but when I looked to adopt a dog they told me they could hold the animal up to 4 days. I had been getting paid that week so I agreed to pick him up and finalize everything on Friday after work. The following day I went back to see my soon to be puppy and someone else had adopted him and was about to leave with him. Very frustrated I called and complained about the situation. They were kind enough to return the dog back and allow me to continue with the adoption process. All of this occurred because someone simply failed to leave a note on his paperwork. After I had paid for my new family member, several days later I noticed 2 charges for the amount of my new adopted pet on my account, putting my checking account in a negative balance. Frustrated I called Pet Smart only to find out that they did in fact charge me and it was up to the Appleton Humane Society (where the animals are originally located) to refund. After several back and forth dealings with both them and my bank, I finally got my refund, needless to say, the whole experience left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

Incredibly friendly staff, but grooming can be very infuriating. We schedule our 2 dogs at 8 am for grooming that they tell us will take 3 hours and possibly 4 if they get busy. After 5 hours of waiting, they still have an hour to go. Unacceptable!!! UPDATE - After over 6 hours waiting for our dogs, we picked them up and asked the grooming manager why it took 6 hours when we were told 3 to 4. She said "look at how many people I have working right now" and "maybe Saturdays arent for you then" with a serious attitude. She was incresibly rude and never once apologized for the inconvenience. Spoke with a store manager and while incredibly nice and apologetic, couldnt really do much for us than ask for another chance. Needless to say, we will be finding a different pet store.

Went to the store to return an item. Manager Jamie was a complete and utter jerk, to say the least. Very unprofessional. Was very condescending, made a fool of me in front of other customers and even proceeded to talk about me to other employees. I will never step foot in this store again. Never have I been treated so poorly by a manager. He had the nerve to question me on things that were absolutely none of his business. Cant believe this man still has a job.

Prior to getting groomed at PetSmart our puppy would let us brush her daily and cut her nails on a weekly basis. Ever since being groomed at PetSmart she now growls and nips at us every time we try to do any at home care. She has been traumatized from the experience. Her nails looked so crooked and poorly cut, we were very disappointed. We did have a great experience at Puppy School with Heather.

Most of the staff seem really indifferent on being there. Was out of a fish filter that we needed for about one month, and through checking online and in the store it was never restocked. Products around it were just placed in its area to make it look full, but the pricetag was still there for the original product we needed. Ended up buying an alternative on Amazon for about 30% of the cost.

Melanie is the best groomer EVER! Weve been taking our dog to her for five years now. We moved away from the area, tried groomers closer to us but no one can make our dog look like himself. No one treated him like Melanie does. So we will drive the two and a half hours to see Melanie. She treats our dog like he is hers with all the love and kindness a family member needs.

Most pets are happy and healthy except the fish all of the tanks are connected so if one gets ick they all get ick the people there barley know about fish one time when they tried to bag a fish it was dead before it got in the bag equipment is good for fish but the fish there are bad good to an independently owned pet store to get info + heathy fish hoped this helped.

:3 I went when they had the caged open so I could pet the animals.. All the cats were nice and kind of passive. And the man working there was helpful and kind. I adopted a kitten and it only a half hour maybe to fill out papers and I took him home. <333 Prices are okay, but some stuff was rather steep...

I have a Yorkie and first time haircut and I am very disappointed and will NEVER Ever go back there, U gave them instructions of how I wanted her hair plus a photo, she came out with no hair and just damn excuses from the grooming staff. Since we left til now she been shaking.

Employee in fish area never asked if we needed help as we spent 15 min looking at fish. She didnt the entire time taking about personal stuff with another employee. We had to interrupt to get some help. She was nice then and seemed to know the fish. Place was clean.

Fox valley is in the back of this location which makes me love it. 5 stars because we adopted our puppy from here and love him so much! They were helpful through the adoption (Fox Valley). Going back to look at the pups always pulls on those heart strings!!

I was harassed by an employee at my first time here, I am from 100 miles away and was hoping for a good experience but then I was HARRASSED by an employee who claimed to be a hamster expert who obviously wasny as she gave pit very incorrect info.

Great friendly and helpful staff, they also seem to know their stuff or to find the Roddy person who does. Ive never had a bad experience from adopting a dog, to asking questions, to buying pet supplies, and finally puppy classes!
