Worst experience Ive ever had at any retail store ever was refused a 2" bala shark for my 10 gal aquarium and yelled at by the employee when I asked she claims u need a 20gal tank for even a 2inch bala shark and that buying the 2inch bala shark for my 10 gallon and upgrading it later was unacceptable apparently u need 1 gallon per inch based on the fish maximum length not there current length there maximum meanwhile they have 20 2 inch bala sharks in a 20 gallon tank been customers at that petco for 5 years and the service was never great the prices were always higher then Walmart and other pet stores but they were convienient because of how close they were but not even them being a block away will save our business now

Sandy was rude and actually yelled at us been customer for years with our ferrets cats and rabbit will never shop there again there prices are higher then other stores can never get someone to help u unless u track them down and even then u have to wait forever but they are a block away so we went there anyways but after today I will never go there again bad service bad prices and HORRIBLE RUDE staff if I could give a 0 rating they would have it

Great prices! Ive found it to be noticeably cheaper than other local pet stores. The knowledgeable staff is very friendly and happy to help with with any questions. But they will also leave you alone to do your own browsing. (Nothing more annoying than an overbearing sales associate!) They also have a wider variety of products and pets. I highly recommend giving Petco a try, you will not be dissatisfied!

Got a very expensive fish home and realized there was a fin missing and the little part time thinks he knows it all does. Or know anything, they will not goner there 30 day guarantee!!! Zero star review from me. They just lost a regular customer. I suggest you use petsmart a way nicer selection and a helpful knowledgeable staff.

They do not know their salt water section at all. The selection is very limited as it is. Should be easy for them to know what is what. More than once i had to tell them they had aggressive fish in with passive ones. They never changed it. And the passive ones ended up dying. They never remove the dead fish either.

The products are better and food they sell is more high quality. All the enclosures were clean and for the most part good examples with the exception of small animals. The employees were very welcoming compared to Pet smart. I would choose Pet co over any other pet store any day!

We just got a new dog and the lady that helped us was able to direct us to the gentle leader harnesses, which she fitted to the dog in the store and he had an immediate improvement in his trying to pull away. The welcome packet with coupons and other info was also a nice touch.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good deals. Remember to apply for the Petco card as there a lots of perks around it. Can apply to it in store also. Very nice store and lots of pets including salt water and fresh water fish.
