Id been looking for a very specific vehicle in a certain color and with a manual transmission…an Orion Blue Mercedes SLK 350. After 2 months of looking on at least 8 different sites daily and missing out on a couple because I didn’t act fast enough, I finally found it at Pat Moore. I immediately filled out a credit application and called the next day. I spoke to Ray and he assured me that, even though Im in St. Louis, MO and theyre 2,000 miles away in Vancouver, WA, they would hold the car for me. And, even though they got a call a day or two later from someone in California who was willing to hop on a plane and be there the next day, they were true to their word and held the car for 2 weeks so I could get a better fare on my flight. In that two weeks, Id spoken to Ray, Eric and Pat as I checked in periodically to let them know when I was arriving (because Ray even picked me up at the Portland airport) and to ask a question or two. Every one of them was friendly, helpful and easy to talk to, reassuring me repeatedly that the car was mine. During those 2 weeks, they had found a couple of things on the car that needed repairs, one was taken care of before I arrived, but the other needed a part that was hard to find. When I got to the dealership, I was so happy with the car that I couldnt stop grinning. They told me that the part they ordered hadn’t arrived yet and because I wasn’t able to wait in Portland/Vancouver, they would ship it to me when they got it and would pay to have it installed at a shop here in St. Louis. They were true to their word at every turn. The part got to St. Louis shortly after I did and my regular shop installed it, getting payment from Pat Moore for the installation. My dad was a used car dealer and Ive been around dealers my whole life. There are good ones, not-so-good ones, and downright slime balls. These guys were fantastic. I love my "new" car...it runs great, looks fabulous, and the price was spot on. I wouldnt hesitate to send anyone to see Ray, Eric and Pat if they were looking for a good used car at a fair price. And because I was going to be driving it back to St. Louis by myself and there was a lot of rain in the forecast, Pat made me wait 10 minutes before I left so he could double coat the windshield with Rain-X. It’s enough to restore your faith in used car dealers.

Another Crooked Used car dealership, They will tell you anything they need to tell you to get you to buy the car("they would provide new shifter boot which was slightly warn, and the radio antenna" Which they never did!. Bought a VW TDI from them, which had a problem immediately, (serpentine belt Tensioner) called them up, they provided a non-VW part and ended up sending me to a hole in the wall auto repair shop instead of the certified VW dealership I was already AT! What took this place all day was quoted 2 hours at VW. Fast forward 2 weeks (if that) the tensioner they provided has already broke, BUT since Im 200 miles over the "warranty" Erik and Mr. Pat Moore feel as though they have filled their obligation, Leaving me ( A US Veteran from Iraq) broke down yet again. These guys are pure jokers that wont stand behind any of their words, just their wives. This earth spins in a circle however, what goes around comes around. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS!!!!!!! IF I could give them a 0 star I would!!!

I had a real good buying experience. I still have my truck and less maintenance my truck runs great. Four years ago. Moore seems to have an eye for picking good used cars. Its a risky business from his end and ours. Face it used cars cant talk. But you can garner some useful info from carfax. I see comments that Moore is over priced. Think. Did you have cash? I did. That puts a game changer on the price. Or about 50% down. Dealers I know who are over priced are in P-land. Wentworth Chevy and Eastside. They are way over the top on price and will not budge. I am going to buy another from him. Soon.

It has been a little over a year since I bought my car from here. My engine has seized taking a small day trip to the coast. The engine only had 130,000 miles on it. The mechanic who put a new engine in it said someone has gone into the engine before and put a bandaid on it. The bearing was going out and they cut out the metal part to clean out the the metal shaving from the screen in the oil; which I now have as evidence. The engine has been burned before and I have pictures of it. Do not go here to get a car it will cost you thousands more in hidden repairs.

Awesome place!!! You havent been there if you think its overpriced. We came to buy one minivan and my frugal Mom bought one too. Afterwards we had a minor issue and they fixed it swiftly. We send our friends and family there consistently. Our trusted mechanic of 15 years is the place all the cars go to first to be checked out. 4 years later and our used car runs great !

Really nice gentleman I talked too. He let me test drive a car and had all info without hesitating. Super nice cars. Very clean. Answered all my questions and did not pressure me and did not tell me that 20 people are interested and pricing is average to fair but as always check kbb before you buy. Would recommend just even if you are looking.
