Met a "dealer", likely a curbstoner, named Raymond "Victor" Cianci of Aman Corp. on Craigslist. I learned later that he is a former employee of J&M Auto Sales. His long time friend, Jeremy, who works here was there the day that Ray brought me to sign papers for the car he had posted on Craigslist. Ray was up front that he did not work for this dealership and that he was friends with the business. Ray sold me a 2004 Honda Odyssey. I knew it had transmission issues almost immediately after taking it on sustained highway speeds, and had it looked at by Bills on highway 99, who confirmed the issues, as well as the Honda dealership in Hillsboro. Ray signed on the bill of sale that he would buy back the vehicle within 7 days, but he ignored and avoided my phone calls for the entire week, also telling me that he was out of town even as he was meeting with other people I knew to try to sell them more presumably broken cars. To his credit, Jeremy was a very friendly guy when I showed up. He took me to the back room and offered me a "dab", which is essentially hash oil. He then offered to sell me some weed that he told me his family is growing in California, and gave me some for free, which I was grateful for. After I couldnt get a hold of Ray for a week, I was stuck in Vancouver and stranded with a van with a bad transmission and an ignition lock that stopped turning after a week. I went to ask Jeremy to buy the van back and get the money from his friend Ray. Jeremy informed me that he was not legally responsible to do anything. I told him he may be correct, but there was definitely an ethical responsibility because he was letting an unlicensed dealer sell cars from his lot. He told me he was sure that Ray was indeed licensed, but could not provide me with the dealer number and was even baffled that Ray had not signed his name anywhere on the papers. Jeremy offered to replace the transmission for $500 or trade in the Honda for a different car on the lot. I asked him to put himself in my shoes. I was trying to get out of town and I could not risk another bum car. I needed the money because at that point I had resolved to cut my losses and rent a car to head south, which I ended up doing. These two were friends and the entire thing was very shady. I asked him to just buy the van back and deal with Ray, but he refused. He told me that he would definitely give me a statement if I decided to pursue legal action against Ray, called him up on the phone, and when he informed Ray I was there on the lot, Ray hung up the phone. Jeremy let me know he would call ray that night and call me back the same night. Its been over a week and I have not heard from either of them. I let Jeremy know that I would be leaving a review on the business and he told me that was fine, just dont lie. So, here it is. Unless you are mechanically inclined, a mechanic, or know someone mechanically inclined to help you look for a vehicle, I would stay away from this place. It is bad news in my experience. However, I did give them one extra star because the weed Jeremy was selling out of the lot was actually pretty decent. If you are looking for a car and dealers who wont give you any problems, I cannot recommend this lot. If you are looking for decent weed at a fair price and you dont want to be IDd, go talk to Jeremy. But the prices at the Herbery are definitely better.

BEWARE......DO NOT SHOP HERE. If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible to work with. We bought a suburban, I said the check engine light was on and it wont pass deq, I was told "dont worry hunny, it runs great and we will fix the check engine light" . Not even a week later, a water line blew and fried the radiator. I called and talked to Gary. I paid to have the water line fixed and a new radiator put in. The check engine light was still on. I let Gary know again, I got the same response. Then my husband had emergency surgery, I called Garys to let him know we would be late making our payment. By this time it was almost paid off and still the check engine light was on. In the middle of the night Gary repoed our car, which I understand because we were late on payment. So once I realized it was at Garys, 5 days later, my husband stopped by to pick up our items out of the car. It was already on the lot for sale! We werent even told or given the option to pay the balance in full and get it back. Gary told my husband "there was nothing in the car but trash so it was all put in the dump. However, this was not true. I gave a list of items that were in the car, it included 2 pump action rifle bb guns that were my boys, we had just went shooting that day. I gave Gary 15 days to return the items, which i provided a list of and location where in the car the items were, or refund for them if they were "missing". I let him know by law he has to return or compensate for the items. Today I asked Gary if we could come get our items. He started yelling at me and talking over me. I remained polite and calm. I let him know by law he has to return our items. He claimed nothing was in the car. I asked then for the tow companies number to ask them for my items. He then hung up on me. So I called right back, asked not to be hung up on and again asked for my things or compensation. He said I wasnt getting anything and to take him to court. I told him ok and to have a great day. I dont recommend these people to anyone. I know having the car repoed is my fault, but there are laws in place to protect peoples property if that happens. Gary chose not to follow those laws and refuses to work with me about it.

this is jeremy the so called homofoeb, as far as the first 2 comments go yes i did tell the kid i would only give him 1800 for his early 90s truck , that was being more than fair. the truck was not clean dents and paint fading everywhere on the truck i told him with that 5th wheel hitch it tells me that it may have some hard pulling miles, and that it was not somthing for me anyway with the large amount of work it needed, it was for real a bucket but i did not say that. then the kid went on to tell me all my cars suck and im overpriced, when i know im not, then he said f you while he walked away. i said thanks for coming by. then i see all this hype from him and his step dad talking smack, i am sorry for the kid and hope he can sale his truck but he is 100% not honest and should not throw fits when someone says no. as far as him being gay i dont care what people do as long as they dont hurt anyone els and are happy period never been a homofoed. and any of my friends that are gay would never use it as a scapegoet this kid has some real problems. with that said, i offer great deals on payments with no interest and love everyone. in 20 years no one has ever gave me a bad review and i plan to keep it that way. if you want you can check out this kids google page just click on his name, he calls names and bad mouths all the companys on there, not a nice guy at all
