I think this store is miss managed and I wonder how they stay in business. We have now decided to drive a little further down the road to Safeway because they have much better customer service. Were this is coming from: My husband and I have moved near this Albertsons a little over a year ago. I work at a grocery store in another part of town, however, sometimes on my days off or late evening we will sneak over to this store because it is so close. Every time we have gone to this Albertsons I have had a bad experience. Most day cashiers are rude and forget the customer service part of their job. There is a lot following this but, I just wanted to stress how many chances I have given before I gave this review. One time in particular, the cashier did not say one word to me other than what I needed to pay her. During this whole time I asked her how her day was, and made a cheesy joke about something I was buying. Then I awkwardly told her to have a nice day because she was ignoring me. I stopped in one evening there was no one in the check-stands or in eyesight of any of the check-stands. I couldnt hear anyone in the store. I was really hungry for my chicken I was trying to purchase so I waited longer then most people would. Finally what felt like eternity (which only ten minutes by the clock on my phone) I walked out, leaving the chicken. If I was that type of person I could of stolen it. Though, I felt terrible I left the chicken out without putting it back it probably went bad by the time anyone found it. Another time I was waiting in the back of a long line. I must stress I had waited long enough to wonder wither my purchases were really that necessary, they were (dang it). By the time a cashier appeared to help I was the next costumer but still hadnt put my stuff on the belt. I started to make a move toward toward the rescue cashier. But then he told the people who just walked up behind me that he could help them. They looked at me and suggested maybe I should go a head of them considering I have been waiting. I thanked them. And thought "cashiering 101, you help the next person in line, even costumers know that." That was the day I swore to never return. My husband came to agree to my point of view when he went to buy a bottle of vodka for a friend. He was not familiar in what was good and needed advice. The employee he found made fun of him and rolled his eyes.

Nothing special here. But I actually think the new owners, who also own Safeway a few blocks south, have some ridiculous plan to move Albertsons shoppers to Safeway, and eventually close Albertsons? I say this, because right after purchasing Albertsons, they stole Albertons deal, of "Buy 1 package of seasoned meat, and get 2 more free" deal. Then, they stole the Fried Chicken seasoning from Albertsons deli and used it at Safeway. They even advertised it! ...and the other thing I noticed is pricing on some common items being ridiculously priced at Albertsons lately. For example the "Powerade" drinks. Did you know they upped the price of Powerades at Albertsons to $2 a bottle? I honestly think theyre trying to move Albertsons shoppers down the road to Safeway. But its a stupid plan, ...mostly, because theres a Walmart, Winco, Fred Meyer, Grocery Outlet, and Chucks all in the same vicinity. I dont need to buy Powerades at Safeway for $1.29, because Winco sells them for $.80! ....and Walmart sells them for $.68! All the new owners are doing by raising common prices is sending shoppers to Walmart and Winco. It doesnt help Safeway OR Albertsons. So stupid. I dont go to Safeway anymore because they discontinued the Self-Checkout, and replaced it with less cashiers. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Last time I went to Safeway, there were only two lines open, pushed all the way back into the food aisles. I only had a handful of items, and had to wait 15 minutes to get checked out. Albertsons new owners also own Safeway and theyre morons. If not for the kind ladies in Albertsons deli, and Safeways sugarless frozen ice cream bars, I wouldnt bother returning to either store.

Not shopping here anymore. Ordered a "signature fully cooked" turkey dinner after a recommendation from a friend and was incredibly disappointed when I showed up today, Thanksgiving day, at 2 PM (the pickup time that I designated when I ordered it) to pick up what I thought was going to be a hot and ready to go Thanksgiving turkey. NOPE. I dont know how to exactly describe it but what I picked up was a thawed, "partially cooked" turkey that needed another 3 HOURS in the oven before it would be ready to serve. Took it home, followed the directions and wound up with a sad, dried-out excuse for a Thanksgiving dinner. Albertsons definitely needs to be more up-front with what people are paying for. Will not be shopping here anymore.

I cant believe how expensive things are at Albertsons vs Safeway prices. I went to get generic brand mucinex and almond milk. It was literally DOUBLE the price of Safeway. I left immediately and went across the street to save money. It is also hard to understand how the deli and meat department look the same as they did in the early 80s how can you justify your prices?

The Phone number listed for this is to the 4th Mill Plain Blvd. Albertsons - Just FYI. This almost ended up in disaster for me as I trusted Google and didnt verify where I was headed. The Bakery Manager at the 20th Ave. store, Christine, really saved my day when she stepped up and fixed my situation. Thanks!

I only go here at times because its within walking distance of my house. Its comical how they claim (right above the entrance) that theyre the low-cost store and yet theyre more expensive than most of the others. Also, watch out with their pricing, its sometimes wrong.

First time here, similar layout to my Safeway, took a few mins to find everything but helpful workers helped me and there were short lines at the checkout.

Hard to get into with a huge klugy parkinglot, and coming from the south. Theres nothing special and nothing really bad. Generic albertsons.
