I dunno what Verizon is doing anymore honestly. Its the answer to the so so networks yet doesnt offer much itself for the single user. Witholding unlimmited data just to bring it back for a Staggering $80 a month. The problem is most wireless carries work together which is why pricing isnt very diverse. The other thing that disturbs me is the overpricing of phones. Google had proved years ago that you can have a flagship device that costs half as much with their nexus line up. That is till the pixil phone, an outragous amount to match the competition. Because financing the phones or bundling them with contracts is how the money is made and how people are going to continue to get suckered into buying them. Problem is, once you have a carrier advertising the greatest downfall of all the hopes and dreams in the cellular world. Its all downhill from there. People will just expect to keep up with it out of habbit and not knowing any better. Batteries will blow up and people will still insist othe same device because its cool and they are told its the best so they want it. And keep wanting despite another wave of batteries blowing up. Samsung addicts are just as bad as Apple users these days. They swear by the product, refuse to see any other option despite the critical flaws. In note 7 edges case a flaw that could cause great harm. But back to the the main review. Authorized dealers such as this joint dont really help make matters any better for the best cellular experience. Premium rates with take or leave it attitude. I remember the good ol days when you got to haggle and walk away paying less than the poster price. Even then its a win for them because the operational costs of your service is pennies on the many dollars you spend a month. So even if they offered rates half off they would still make a killing. But they cant let you know that. So when they do they create BS subrands to sell you prepaid packages. To sum it all up though and to be fair. I rather like the customer service here, and the people working there trying to make the best of selling a product they may or may not believe in fully. Because the more you learn about telecom either it be wired or cellular. Its all just become a giant scheme to rip people off little by little so you dont notice it till years later and you realize or like most people dont realize it. Proof of it all lies in the fact that you can get a Wi-Fi phone that still charges you to make calls. Even though there are plenty of services out there like Google voice where you can call for free from an app. So if that is the case then how does Skype and Vonage make so much from people making calls over the internet. Becuase when you have a product people are familiar with and its popular. You better believe they will rip you off with every chance they get to make their brand more profitable. Its just business yo.

I have, always, been impressed with Verizon and even though it was hard to give up my S3, Jessica aka "The Phone Whisperer" totally made me an offer I couldnt refuse. To upgrade from an S3 w/ 24G & carryover to an S8 w/ UNLIMITED for the same price (full bells & whistles because I really do use this phone for everything) she had me sold big time. Her personality combined with her knowledge of the Android was ridiculously awesome. TCC Verizon in University Place obviously take pride in taking care of their customers as well as knowing their product. I was so impressed with Jessica that when I went back to purchase the S8, I wanted just her to have the sale when I couldve went to my own local Verizon store which was 5 minutes away from where I lived. Nonetheless, Jessica deserved the sale and TCC VERIZON UNIVERSITY PLACE deserves kudos for best customer service.

Blair was especially helpful meeting my needs in every way. He understood I had a time constraint and would need to make the process of acquiring a new phone seamless. As the only staff member in the store on a Sunday, Blair did a fantastic job of greeting and assisting every customer. Blair was able to give me the exact information I wanted to know about different cell phone options in which case made my decision feasible. He also made me aware of the current Platinum Pass which saves the customer money in the long run, something we all want! I am very pleased with my service at University Place TCC Verizon. I will definitely be going back!

I wouldnt even give them one star but less than one isnt an option. I walked in the store on a Saturday morning, with only one employee in the store, one customer waiting at the counter, and Im never evendors welcomed or acknowledged. I look around for a few minutes, and am still ignored, so I walk out. Very, very bad. I get it, only one person working, but at least have the decency to day hi, Im busy, Ill be right with you, but no, not one word, not one look, and I will never go there again.

I didnt even have to walk in to know the customer service levels were subpar. Watched the opening manager take a spot directly in front of the store and never moved her car. This is a direct reflection of the work ethic and customer service in my eyes. If youre that lazy to park another 50 yards away, then Im not going in the store. Great job putting your customers first. I really hope your P.O.S. Mustang doesnt get a door ding while your sales numbers stay stagnant.

super friendly and helpful service. came in today close to closing (most places try to rush you out cause they know they are almost off work) but here they were very accommodating. i had dunked my phone in water and they helped me dry it out with the drying machine. very courteous and friendly staff. it was two younger guys. was super happy my phone could be salvaged! ill be back to this location if i ever have issues again!

These guys lost my unlimited data plan! I asked them to switch my upgrade from one phone to another so I do not loose my unlimited data plan. I am calling the REAL Verizon Wireless to get it resolved. These guys also added an insurance on the phone without permission. I will only do business with the actual company in the future.

Not only did they have only 1 employee working (6/19/17, 9-10am) she accepted payment and changed my cell phone plan without any proof whatsoever it is my cellphone, didnt ask my name or for my ID, and made a disparaging remark about me and the place I am from to the next customer as I left. Horrible experience.

Wow the store manager was amazing my mind was blown. I broke my note 5 and walked out with an iPad Pro and iPhone 6s 64gb and theyre amazing!

If you need to pay your bill or get a new service this location will do. If you need anything more complex go to a corporate store, not here.
