Being married to an Italian and stationed in Italy, my wife and I found riding scooters an all to common practice. After deciding to trade in our 50ccs for a couple of 150s we found Max-MPG Scooters in University Place Wa. We not only found our scooters to be very reasonably priced, but after talking with Greg (owner) and with NO sales pressure, decided to buy 2. Weve loved riding our scooters and within a short duration of time, accumulated over 5000 miles and to date have had NO major service issues. When it came to service related issues, and when most other businesses would have probably told me to bring them in to be looked at to make money, Greg would try his best to explain over the phone how to rectify the issue saving me both the time and hassle it would have taken to load the them into the truck to take them in to be looked at, but the service charges that would have occurred as well. When I did have to take them in for ANY reason, we found not only the service prices very reasonable, but found Greg and his team to be both very professional and courteous as well. No sooner do we pull in the parking lot when one of his service techs would be out there to ask what was wrong and to help unload the scooters from the truck. There were even several occasions when Greg would be able to resolve the issue right on the truck without even having to unload them. So between the NO PRESSURE sales, the reasonable prices for their scooter(s), their reasonable service prices and the professional courtesy displayed by Greg and his team at all times, Id HIGHLY recommend Max-MPG Scooters to ANYONE in the market for scooters. Ive already done the leg work for you, so Id suggest starting there. I believe youll not only find them to be every bit as credible as Ive pointed out, but like my wife and I have had, will find many years of pleasurable hassle/worry free riding.

I had a problem with the wifes scooter -- it never ran "right" since new. it then sat for a winter neglected and the carbs jets plugged up. I called around and no one seemed to want to help with a Chinese scooter. James @ max-mpg took the scooter w/o complaint or ill-comment. More impressive is I failed to all and ask "Can I drop it off?" He was pleasant, eager to help. Helped us unload the scooter from the truck; took a few notes and said "Ill call you in a few days." He gave a reasonable estimate with a caveat "we just dont know until we get in to it" I thought "wow, this is fast, and great service" By the time I got home, there was a call saying "your scooter is ready". It runs better than before, under the estimate; and he gave the bike a general looking over. I would definitely recommend James & his shop. Awesome friendly service & reasonable price.

These guys really back up their products. My husband and I bought a little 49cc scooter from Max MPG last summer to save on gas, since then, every time weve had an issue, or brought it in for a tune up, James and the gang get it done quickly and do it right! Their warranty policy is really outstanding - the carbs on our bike got backed up, even though wed been running it weekly like they told us to through the winter. We brought it in for a cleaning and adjustment, and were thrilled to learn this was covered under their one year service and parts! The folks at Max MPG are honest and knowledgable, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new toy.

Greg and company run a quality business. I bought a scooter last Summer to save money on gas. When I went in, he had a wide selection of scooters that he just let me jump on and take for a spin to see which one I liked best. I chose the Il Bello 150cc, and have enjoyed it immensely. The carburetor recently malfunctioned on me. Greg was willing to talk me through how to fix it over the phone, and when I broke a small part, he was willing to give me a replacement. I highly recommend these guys if you are looking to save some money on gas, or just want to ride. Thanks a lot Greg.

Weve brought our scooter here for regular maintenance and repairs at least a dozen times. Always happy with the work, the price and the quick turn-around. Just today we brought a wheel in, that needed a new tire and it was mounted and ready for us within an hour. Greg and his shop crew is awesome. This will continue to be the only place we go to for all our scooter needs.

These guys are the real deal. They know their motor bikes and they love the business. I recently purchased a Falcon 150cc scooter. During my initial ride my scoot decided to shut off--oh no!! When I got the scooter back to the shop, it took Greg and gang 2 minutes to find my problem. They serviced the bike and I have had no problem since--thanks guys!

Honest and hard working. I trust them to take care of my daughter who used a scooter for her only transportation. They have taken very good care of us every time we are there. I read some of the reviews from others that were not positive and think they must be talking about the wrong business.

The owner, Greg, was eager and somewhat helpful. Hes was too familiar, told me that the vespa i had been trying to fix would never have enough power to get up the hills in downtown seattle, which he was wrong about. Also, I get it... have a weekend, but to be closed on a Monday was inconvenient

I took my scooter to a shop in Seattle because it was not working; three weeks and they could not find the problem so I moved the scooter to Max-MPG; 4 hours of work and the bike was fixed. I live in Seattle, which is inconvenient but from now on I will keep giving my business Greg.
